"Get away from Master, you witch," Loccy shouted, dropping from the trees with her hammer swinging in a murderous arc toward Cessy's head.
Cessy giggled while flipping backward, letting the hammer strike the ground where she had stood. Loose dirt and broken roots exploded across the entire clearing.
Loccy did not pause to reset her stance, instead ripping the hammer from the crater. She swept it toward Cessy's ribs with enough force to bend the grass.
Cessy swayed beyond the weapon's reach without losing her smile, and the hammer smashed through a line of trees behind her.
The trunks snapped like twigs, sending splinters across the clearing while Loccy dragged the weapon around for another attack.
The rabbit fought the way she felt, all forward weight with no patience. Every swing spent more ground than it won against a smiling target.
"You are pretty fast for a rabbit," Cessy said, stepping aside as an overhead blow caved in the ground.
