"Yes, I am afraid that it is broken" Airmid informed Nero as she bandaged up his left arm
"I figured as much" sighed Nero "how's my right arm though? it was the one that took most of the brunt of the attack"
"It only has some minor bruising, your gauntlet took most of the damage and due to it being knocked back into your left arm, most of the force was transfered across due to your left arm acting like a cushion for it" Amid answered as she made a sling for Nero's arm, gently resting it in the sling "don't use your arm for a week and it should heal up fine with no after effects, try to keep the bandages dry and if they do get wet replace them as soon as possible afterwards, if you need help with doing so feel free to return here for assistance"
"He'll be fine" Aurathia's voice declared as she entered the clinic "I've had to bandage myself up quite a few times when I first became the goddess of training and women due to training accidents and accidently cutting myself in the kitchen, so I'm pretty used to patching myself up if I do say so myself"
"Aura, what are you doing here?" Nero blurted out in surprise
"I heard my kid was at a clinic with a broken arm, what kind of a goddess would I be if I didn't come to see how they were doing" Aurathia smiled
"Do you require some bandages then?" Airmid asked
"We should be fine" Aurathia replied "I stocked up when I had enough money after I descended just in case there was an accident during training
"Then for the basic medical care it will be 10,000 valis" Airmid stated
"Would this be enough or do you want actual valis?" Nero quireed as he pretended to reach into his pocket, instead reaching into his storage magic, pulling out the dungeon worms magic stone that he had picked up after beating the ligerfang "it's a duneon worms stone from the 15th floor so it should be worth at least 10,000 valis"
"We do accept payment via magic stones of sufficiant value, thank you for coming, please return in a week for a checkup" Airmid explained
"Will do" Nero thanked Airmid
"Alright then, let's get you home" Aurathia stated as she and Nero made their way out of the clinic before turning to Nero with a stern glare "so, want to explain to me why you were fighting a monster from the 15th floor when you're still level 1"
"Not my fault" Nero remarked "I think you can agree that a dungeon worm eating a monster then traveling up a floor only to die due to the monster killing it from the inside, then that monster attacking me is something that I wouldn't be able to help"
"So it's not that you're an idiot, it's that you were just really unlucky?" Aurathia inquired, scanning Nero's face for any sign of him lying
"I admitt that I was near the stairs to the 15th floor and was tempted to go down, but I swear I didn't actually go down" Nero confessed
"So only a bit of an idiot then" Aurathia huffed "I can deal with partial idiots, in fact most of the heros that I used to train while in the divine realm did stupider things than you so I'm used to it" she chuckled
"So how do I compare to them?" Nero wondered out loud
"In terms of potential, probably around the middle of the group, I've trained monsters who could keep up with me within a week and were able to beat me within a month, in terms of stupidity, probably around the lower end, with most of the hero's they had muscles for brains and thought that running in and punching something as hard as they could was a battle plan" Aurathia remarked
"So over all above average?" Nero joked
"Overall bearable" Aurathia teased over her shoulder with a grin "now come on, you've got psychic powers so don't think an injury like this gets you out of helping around at home, treat it as psychic power training while you can't use one of your arms"
"But I was told to rest" Nero complained
"Correction, you were told to rest your arm, using psychic powers doesn't require the use of your right arm" Aurathia countered "you said you were struggling with using your psychic powers so this is the best way to get used to using them, necessity generally makes training more effective"
"By the way, do you know what happened to Yumi and Rias? they left after they dropped me off at the clinic and made sure that I was ok" Nero asked
"Apparently they went to the hostess of fertility" Aurathia replied "they felt there was no point in going back to the dungeon at this point in the day so Yumi decided to go spar with Ryuu to get in some training and Rias had wanted to go there as well so they went together"
"Should we go pick them up then, we could have a meal there at the same time as I'm starting to get hungry" Nero suggested
"Sounds like a plan, it's not a bad idea to eat out every now and then" Aurathia agreed as they made there way to the restuarant.
