After work I insisted on driving her home so she could pack her things and come stay with him "which way should I turn" I asked her "oh just turn left then you will see my house" when I stopped at her house she opened the door and walked out in a daze, i guess she was still trying to process what's going on. I waited for an hour i almost went up to check if she was alright then I saw her walking down with only one suitcase I was quite surprised " is that everything or are somethings still upstairs" I asked " no this is all do you have a problem with it" she asked "oh no just asking " she said nothing and and put on her seatbelt
When we reached my apartment complex as we walked in I decided to run through some ground rules " I would like us to talk about a few things since we will be staying together firstly don't invade my personal space treat this as us being just roommates , secondly during the period of the contract your not supposed to fall in love with me , and thirdly if you fall in love with someone or have a boyfriend let me know in advance so we can work through it so my parents don't find out, and tomorrow I will give you the drafted contract if you have any issues with my conditions let me know so I can make changes to it" "no I don't have any issues with it" ok then this is your room I will be just down the hall in case you need anything" " ok thank you" she replied as she entered the room.
As I entered my room I released I breathe I didn't even realize I was holding to say today isn't strange then I would be lying one minute I was Alexander my boss secretary and now I'm he's fake bride it kind of feels like déjà vu, this kind of feels wrong lying to he's parents giving them hope when we aren't even married well on paper tomorrow we are going to be married but it all just a contract, but I can't think about all this now cause I really need the money for mom's treatment. Pushing all my thoughts to the back of my mind I take my time to look around I can't believe he stays in this big apartment alone like the room I'm staying in is even way bigger than the living too in my apartment and the bed is really soft, sigh I wish mom was here she would have loved it. I get up and to take my bath and as soon as I opened the bathroom door I'm amazed the bathroom is so big and it even has a bathtub, huh living here might not be so bad!. After I finished washing up I laid down on the bed I kept wondering if things were still going to be the same by tomorrow and with that thought I drifted up to sleep.
I was suddenly woken up from sleep by a loud shriek, I ran out of bed with my pjs and as soon as I stepped into the living room I saw to elderly couple sitting down the man looked cold and stern but he's wife was the complete opposite she radiated cheerfulness I assumed this were my boss parents. Soon the noticed me standing there and it felt liked time feeezed for a second then before I could even understand what's going on I was pulled into a tight embrace by he's mom, I was so stunned I couldn't even respond then she dragged me towards where they were sitting. I looked at my boss trying to use my eyes to ask him what was going on cause they were not supposed to be back till sunday and today is just Friday, he shaked he's head as a sign that he did not know they were coming before I could use my eyes to question him more he's mom turned to me and asked "how are you doing darling I hope my son has hasn't been stressing you because I know he can be too much sometimes" "mom!" My boss shrieked " what I'm just asking my daughter in law a question not that I'm lying" I couldn't help but chuckle " no ma he hasnt stressed me at all" " please darling dont call me ma it makes me feel old just call me charlotte or mom cause your now my child too" "ok mom" "ouuu i like you already and she's so pretty you guy are going to have beautiful babies together so you guys hurry up and give me a grandchild already" my face turned red at her words and my boss chocked on he's saliva "honey let the kids be the just got married let them enjoy their time being together first before you talk about kids" her husband said "fine I won't talk about it anymore" she said. Mom why did you guys suddenly decide to come back early my boss asked "oh it's because I was so excited because your finally married you know I almost thought you were gay! So when you said you were married I couldn't help myself" "ok mom now please you guys need to leave see you woke both of us up really early and we still need to go to work "fine fine we are leaving now" he's mom said.
After he's parents left my boss turned to me and said "I'm really sorry for their unexpected visit i also was surprised when I saw them and I'm sorry about my mom I know she can be too much sometimes" " no no it's fine yes I was surprised to see them but it's ok and I think your mom is really nice tho" i said "ok then let's prepare for work, and oh one more thing to avoid people in the office talking or the media suspecting us we will have to leave the apartment complex and arrive at the office separately" " oh ok i don't have a problem with that and it makes us separating more easier" " yes yes and before I forget later today the contract will arrive and the marriage certificate you just need to sign it and we can get our certificate just incase my parents or family members ask, and dont worry after the contract ends you can still get married it won't show that you were married before".
