Chapter 146 - Chapter 146: I’ll Handle What the World Government Can’t

Grand Line, Sabaody Archipelago.

After the declaration of war was broadcast, the entire archipelago plunged into chaos.

Following Sengoku's strict orders, the Navy forces stationed here withdrew completely, retreating like a receding tide. They feared that even a moment's delay would bring annihilation at the hands of that silver-haired god of death.

With the Navy gone, Sabaody instantly became a lawless zone.

"The Navy ran away! This place is ours now!"

"Rob them—take all the nobles' money!"

"That Uchiha Emperor is at the auction house—go loot the other areas!"

Greedy pirates, traffickers, and gangsters flooded the streets, burning, killing, and plundering. Flames soared into the sky as civilians wailed and thugs laughed wildly, forming a deafening, chaotic chorus.

Outside Auction House No. 1.

Uchiha Tobirama stood on the steps, watching black smoke rise in the distance. His brow creased slightly.

How noisy.

I haven't even officially taken this place yet, and this trash has already dirtied my territory.

Beside him, Boa Hancock fanned herself, her expression full of disgust.

"My lord, should I turn them all to stone?"

"No need."

Tobirama shook his head. Cold killing intent flashed through his Rinnegan.

"Since the Navy has abandoned this place, I'll establish order myself."

He slowly raised his right hand, palm facing the ground.

"And my order… is simple."

"Those who obey live. Those who don't become waste."

"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence."

Rumble—!

The ground shook violently.

The Sabaody Archipelago was formed from the massive roots of ancient mangroves. Under the surge of Wood Release chakra, those roots—dormant for thousands of years—awoke like coiled dragons.

Crack! Crack!

Countless enormous branches burst from the ground, instantly engulfing the lawless zones from Area 1 to Area 29.

"What is that?!"

"The trees— they're moving!"

"Help! I'm trapped!"

"No—my bones—!"

The Blood Axe Pirates, the Black Gun Pirates, and more than a dozen other minor crews didn't even have time to react. The wildly growing branches wrapped around them, tightening like pythons.

Snap! Squelch!

Bodies were crushed. Blood ran down the trunks, soaking into the roots below.

In a single instant, thousands of rampaging pirates were eliminated, their corpses hanging from the mangroves.

The streets fell silent.

Only the faint sound of dripping blood remained.

"Clean."

Tobirama withdrew his hand, expression indifferent. Such small fry weren't even worth drawing his sword.

Then his perception expanded again.

The remaining Celestial Dragons—those who hadn't escaped yet.

"Trying to run?"

A cruel curve lifted the corner of his mouth.

"If you've stepped into my territory, then stay behind."

His figure vanished.

---

Area 30, Shopping Street.

Saint Rosward, encased in a bubble helmet, was fleeing toward the port under CP0 escort, riding atop a trembling human slave.

"Hurry up! Those insects actually dared block the road!"

"That Uchiha Tobirama didn't follow us… right?!"

Panic drenched him in cold sweat as he struck the slave repeatedly with his cane.

A flash of silver light.

Tobirama appeared before them.

"Saint Rosward."

He looked at the old man with undisguised contempt.

"You—!"

"Die."

With a casual wave, an invisible force pierced straight through Saint Rosward's forehead. He collapsed without even a scream.

The CP0 agents barely moved before Wood Release branches skewered them where they stood.

"Next."

Tobirama disappeared once more.

Within ten minutes, every Celestial Dragon family stranded in Sabaody—save one—was completely wiped out.

No speeches. No mercy.

Just extermination.

---

Area 66, the abandoned Navy port.

A lavish cruise ship flying the World Government flag sat at the dock.

Black-suited guards hurried the final Celestial Dragon aboard—a young woman, barely eighteen.

Saint Shalria.

She wore a golden jumpsuit and a bubble helmet, her posture arrogant despite the fear buried deep in her eyes.

"Set sail! Now!" she shouted. "If that monster catches up, I'll throw you all into the sea!"

Her hands trembled around a golden pistol.

Her brother was dead. Her father was unreachable. She wanted only to reach Mariejois and hide behind the protection of the World Government.

"Yes! Setting sail immediately!"

The anchor rose.

Tap.

Soft footsteps landed on the ship's figurehead.

Saint Shalria froze and looked up.

A silver-haired figure stood atop the dragon statue, crimson eyes gazing down at her.

The same face broadcast to the entire world.

The man who had destroyed her family.

"This ship isn't bad," Tobirama said calmly.

His gaze swept across the deck before settling on her.

"Saint Shalria."

He stepped down slowly.

"I hear you enjoy standing above others."

Her breath caught.

"G-Guards! Kill him! Fire the cannons!"

"Whoever kills him gets ten billion Berries!"

The guards hesitated—then charged.

"Shinra Tensei."

Boom—!

A violent repulsive force exploded outward. The guards were hurled into the sea like debris.

Silence returned.

Only Saint Shalria remained.

She raised her pistol with shaking hands.

"I'm a Celestial Dragon… a god! If you touch me, Lady Imu won't forgive you!"

Tobirama walked toward her, each step crushing her resolve.

"A god?"

He grasped the pistol's barrel.

Snap.

It crumpled like clay.

"In this world," he said coldly, "there is only one authority."

He seized her by the neck and lifted her from the deck. The bubble helmet shattered as she struggled for breath.

"From today on," he declared, voice devoid of emotion, "your status is gone."

"You are no longer a Celestial Dragon."

"You exist only as proof of what happens when the World Government fails."

And with that, her fate was sealed.
