Chapter 159 - Chapter 159: Predicting the Future?

New World, Red Force deck.

Kakashi's figure flickered as he landed back beside Obito, who hovered in mid-air. He glanced at the bloodstain on his arm—already healed—while a cold glint passed through his dead-fish eyes.

"Intelligence confirmed," Kakashi said calmly, as if reporting data.

"That Red Hair possesses an ability to glimpse a few seconds into the future."

"Combined with his oppressive presence, it makes him troublesome."

He paused, the White Fang humming softly.

"However… only to that extent."

"In the face of absolute speed and higher dimensions, seeing the future is meaningless. If your body can't react, you still die."

"Tch. I figured," Obito scoffed, crossing his arms.

"This kind of crude foresight doesn't even compare to Uchiha ocular jutsu."

"Kakashi, don't waste time," he continued impatiently.

"His Majesty is waiting."

"Let's show these natives what real power looks like."

"Agreed."

Boom!

The two formed seals at the same time. Black, ominous patterns spread instantly from their palms, crawling across their arms and faces.

Karma Seal—activated.

Power surged explosively. Chakra, physical strength, and reaction speed soared to terrifying levels, and the sea itself seemed to shudder under the pressure.

Shanks' pupils constricted.

"What… are those markings?"

A deep sense of danger crawled up his spine. It felt less like facing humans and more like standing before something inhuman.

"Everyone!" Shanks roared without hesitation.

"All together! Don't give them time to move!"

"Understood!"

Benn Beckman, Yasopp, Lucky Roux—

The Red Hair Pirates' core fighters unleashed everything at once. Gunfire, blades, and Haki-filled attacks flooded the sky.

"Obito," Kakashi said flatly, not even turning his head.

"Deal with the others."

"I'll kill Red Hair."

"Huh?!" Obito snapped.

"Why do I always handle the trash?! I want that Emperor too!"

"That's an order," Kakashi replied coldly.

"I'm the captain."

"Tch… using His Majesty to shut me up," Obito muttered.

He turned toward the charging pirates, irritation rolling off him.

"You're unlucky," he said lazily.

"I'm in a very bad mood."

Below, Beckman raised his rifle, fury burning in his eyes.

"You dare look down on us?!"

Gunfire and slashes swallowed Obito whole.

"Did we get him?!" Yasopp shouted.

The next second, everyone froze.

The attacks passed straight through Obito's body, as if striking empty air.

"What?! Physical attacks don't work?"

"It's not a Logia—there's no transformation!"

Obito reappeared among them, his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning slowly.

"Too slow."

Double Kamui—intangibility and spatial distortion.

Space twisted violently.

Lucky Roux didn't even have time to react before the distortion engulfed him. His massive body collapsed, lifeless, to the deck.

"Lucky!!" Beckman roared.

He lunged forward, Haki surging, but his strike phased through Obito harmlessly. A hand emerged from the warped space and pressed against Beckman's chest.

"You can keep him company."

Kamui—banishment.

With a sharp distortion, Beckman vanished.

One by one, the Red Hair Pirates' elite fell—unable to touch Obito, unable to escape the space that swallowed them whole.

Annihilation.

"No… everyone…"

In the distance, Shanks saw it all. His eyes burned red.

Those were his partners. His family.

Rage erupted like a storm.

"I'll kill you!!!"

Conqueror's Haki exploded outward as Shanks charged Kakashi head-on, gryphon raised.

"Die!"

Kakashi's eyes remained calm.

"Anger dulls the blade."

"Red Hair, you've already lost."

Purple lightning burst from Kakashi's short sword.

Lightning Release: Purple Lightning—Flash!

The two crossed in a blur.

Shanks saw it—he truly did.

But his body couldn't keep up.

The Karma-enhanced Kakashi moved beyond the limits of Shanks' reactions. What the mind perceived, the body failed to follow.

A deep wound opened across Shanks' chest, forcing him back.

"It's not over yet!" Shanks growled, swinging again.

"Too slow."

Kakashi deflected the strike and sent Shanks crashing into the mast.

In the next instant, Kakashi appeared before him, blade resting at his throat.

"Haki is ineffective."

"Swordsmanship broken."

"Even your future sight is meaningless before absolute speed."

Shanks struggled to rise, bloodied and desperate.

"It's over."

"As the first Emperor to fall," Kakashi said quietly,

"you should feel honored."

The blade fell.

Silence followed.

Red-Haired Shanks—one of the Four Emperors—was dead.

Kakashi shook his blade clean and deactivated the Karma Seal.

"Mission accomplished."

Nearby, Obito finished disposing of the last remnants of the crew.

"Way weaker than ninja war fodder," he muttered.

Kakashi bit his thumb and formed seals.

"Summoning Jutsu."

Poof!

A ninja dog appeared.

"Done already?" Pakkun asked.

"Yes. Take proof back to His Majesty," Kakashi replied.

"Tell him—the Red Hair Pirates have been completely annihilated."

"Got it."

With a flash, Pakkun vanished.

Across the world, News Coos took flight.

No broadcast this time—only newspapers.

Every front page showed the shattered deck of the Red Force.

And a single headline, heavy enough to shake the seas:

The first of the Four Emperors has fallen.
