Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: “Scheming in Front of Me Is Useless!”

Above Karakura Town, the magnificent Wood Release temple hovered like an ancient beast slumbering in the clouds, exuding a suffocating pressure that weighed upon the heavens.

On the spacious open balcony at the temple's summit, Uchiha Tobirama reclined casually on a warm jade lounger, draped in a loose black robe. His posture was relaxed, his presence calm yet overwhelmingly oppressive.

"Master, please have some tea."

At his side, Kuchiki Rukia, dressed in a black-and-white maid outfit, knelt respectfully. Though she kept her head lowered, the lingering fear in her eyes had not faded in the slightest. Even after hours had passed, the aura permeating this place still made her soul tremble.

On Tobirama's other side, Inoue Orihime rested quietly against him, her demeanor serene and unwavering. The six Shun Shun Rikka fairies hovered nearby, radiating a faint dark-golden light as they circled her protectively.

"The night view is beautiful," Orihime said softly, gazing out over the city below.

"Beautiful?" Tobirama accepted the teacup and took a light sip, his gaze drifting toward a distant rooftop hundreds of meters away.

"Soon, someone will provide a little spectacle."

As his words fell—

A violent surge of wind erupted on a nearby rooftop.

Standing tall amid the gale was Tessai Tsukabishi, former Grand Chief of the Kido Corps. Dense blue spiritual pressure burst forth from his body, warping the air around him.

"Such a flawless barrier… Ordinary probing won't suffice."

His expression was grave as he pressed his palms together, beginning a thunderous incantation.

"Hado #88—"

The rooftop trembled violently. Spirit particles converged at an alarming rate, compressing into a blinding blue sphere.

On the balcony, Rukia's face drained of color.

"Hado #88?! Master—be careful! That technique can level entire city blocks!"

Tobirama did not even raise his eyes. He merely watched the tea ripple faintly in its cup.

"Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!"

A colossal blue beam tore through the night sky like a raging thunder dragon, lighting Karakura Town as bright as day as it slammed toward the temple.

Yet Tobirama remained seated.

Hum.

An invisible force unfolded ten meters from the balcony—absolute, untouchable.

Bang!

The beam struck the unseen barrier and shattered instantly, breaking apart into countless harmless motes of blue light that fell like fireworks around the temple.

Tessai's eyes widened in disbelief.

"He… didn't move? No Kido, no Zanpakutō—no spiritual pressure at all?!"

Before the shock could fade, the rebounding force surged back.

Boom!

Tessai was hurled backward, blood spraying from his mouth as his body crashed through the rooftop structures behind him and vanished into the rubble.

A single exchange—decisive and absolute.

On the balcony, Rukia stood frozen, her mind blank. This level of power lay far beyond anything she had ever known.

"The fireworks are over," Tobirama said calmly, setting down the teacup. "There's still one insect hiding."

His gaze shifted downward.

"Are you going to crawl out, or should I drag you?"

From the shadows below, a figure stiffened.

Urahara Kisuke stepped forward, lowering the brim of his hat, a folding fan half-concealing his face.

"Oh my… what terrifying strength," he said lightly, though the tension in his eyes betrayed him. "I'm merely a humble shopkeeper. If my companion caused any offense—"

Before he could continue—

"Enough."

Tobirama's voice cut through the night, cold and dismissive.

"Kisuke Urahara," he said, looking down with unconcealed contempt. "Scheming in front of me is useless."

Crack.

An overwhelming force swept outward. The hidden sealing barriers Urahara had just deployed—along with every trace of preparation—were erased in an instant, vanishing without residue.

Urahara's composure shattered. His hand trembled violently around the folding fan.

Tobirama rose slowly, his dark-gold cloak stirring in the night wind. From above, he gazed down like a god passing judgment.

"Understand this," he said flatly. "You were never in control."

Silence swallowed Karakura Town.

For the first time in his life, Urahara Kisuke felt genuine fear sink deep into his bones.
