She lifted her head and glared at the man standing before her.
"The pride of the Shihoin Family," Yoruichi said hoarsely, "will never bow to a bastard of unknown origin like you!"
Forcing clarity through pain, she bit down hard.
Boom!
White lightning and violent winds erupted from her body, tearing cracks through the jade floor beneath her feet. Spiritual pressure surged outward in a blinding flash.
"Shunko!"
Lightning condensed around her like divine armor. The air screamed as space itself trembled.
With a roar, Yoruichi vanished in a streak of light, her speed multiplying in an instant. Carrying everything she had left, she drove a devastating kick straight toward Uchiha Tobirama.
A strike meant to shatter mountains.
Yet Tobirama did not even remove his left hand from his pocket.
"Taijutsu?" he said coldly. "In front of me?"
Bang!
The lightning scattered like mist.
Yoruichi's eyes widened in disbelief.
Tobirama had caught her ankle with one hand.
No technique. No defense. Just raw physical strength.
The impact vanished as if swallowed by the void.
"This is your strongest Hakuda?" he asked.
With a single motion, he slammed her into the floor.
The thunder armor shattered. Blood sprayed. Before she could rise, Tobirama seized her by the throat and pinned her down, overwhelming pressure locking her body in place.
Three movements.
One hand.
The legendary Goddess of Flash was utterly subdued.
Yoruichi coughed, forcing out words through clenched teeth. "Kill me… if you dare…"
Tobirama looked down at her without emotion.
"Death is mercy," he said. "And you have not earned mercy."
A crushing force descended, sealing her power and cutting off any chance of resistance. Her vision blurred as consciousness slipped away.
---
Time passed.
How long, she could no longer tell.
When Yoruichi awoke again, she was no longer on the battlefield.
The struggle, the humiliation, the suffering that followed were sealed behind closed doors—unseen, unspoken, and absolute.
What remained was only the result.
---
Three days later.
The heavy doors of the underground chamber opened.
Uchiha Tobirama emerged, calm and composed, his presence as overwhelming as ever.
Behind him followed Yoruichi.
The former Commander of the Stealth Force moved silently, her power sealed, her will broken. The pride that once defined her had been stripped away, leaving only empty obedience behind her lowered gaze.
She knelt.
Tobirama did not look back.
"Come," he said indifferently. "The Soul Society will not remain quiet forever."
Yoruichi rose and followed.
The Goddess of Flash had fallen.
And the shadow over the Shinigami world only grew deeper.
