Chapter 1 - A Chinobyi life

Being Cid is harder than I initially thought. I pretty much have got the hang of it. However for a person who loves sleep like me. My schedule is pretty hectic but I have to hang on the path to power is long and plagued with challenges but I will survive. The fanfics made it look easy but can't complain I brought this upon myself. I got piano lessons, martial arts practice, calisthenics, various language lessons and of course shadow broker feats to accomplish. The piano is honestly being forced on me by my parents but I think I'm starting to enjoy it. When I play I feel like all my problems and worries are lifted. Undoubtedly this must be why Cid loved the piano. I also began slowly diversing into other instruments such as the chello, violin and saxophone.

I also began to accumulate knowledge on relevant topics such as commerce, weapon theory, nuclear engineering, politics and production and marketing. Unfortunately mathematics was a challenge. I'm just going to have to wing it if it comes down to it I will have to delegate that to my future self good luck future me. Oh and I also might have neglected my studies so I wasn't exactly the best performing student. That wasn't my goal anyway being a background character has always been my objective.

It makes things so much easier as I don't need to live to people expectations, it's easier this way. But no one wants to hear all about that.

As the years progressed I had perfected or would like to believe, my martial arts, music and various studies. I was now in highschool and I had gotten used to being Cid. Every once in a while ( every three days) I would put on my ski mask and tracksuit and hunt down some thugs as the stylish ruffian slayer. You know a crowbar is much more dangerous than I initially thought. No kidding I thought Cid made up all those uses and that it had no practicality. Boy was I wrong. I have mastered the crowbar as of right now with my current level am positive that I am the peak of human condition.

Through out my time I had come up with various scenarios and found various solutions to them. As a result I can now crack safe, hacking is only natural and tried manipulation. I may not be Johan level but I am somewhere. That leads me to my final challenge "what if someone was to launch a nuke". This was my current challenge.

At school there is a girl with black hair and red eyes, very popular. I think she is a famous model or is it actor. Students usually flock around her. She has been my desk mate for a while but I still can't remember her name. I know her from the novel and anime but I think her name is Akane. She is definitely a named character. Today I ran into her while I was unpacking at the lockers. I tried to recall her name but I got it wrong. Before you start judging me I was tied I haven't been sleeping of late. The goons I usually hunt have also gotten clever and started being more alert. They also put on biker helmets to protect their heads. What a nuisance! Later during the day after school after practicing the moonlight sonata no 14, I went to the roof top to plan on how to become a better shadow broker. That's when something caught my eye; Akane was walking home by herself. This was a first. Usually a driver would come to pick her up. My shadow broker instincts are tingling some major event is about to happen. Without dilly dallying I followed her but secretly. It was dark out and nothing seemed to be happening, she just seemed restless constantly turning back checking. Well I guess she was just being cautious.

I was just about to turn back when two men came and kidnapped her. That's when I finally remembered that this was the kidnapping scene. Well I guess I had no choice but to trail them.

They were hiding in a warehouse very cliche.

Now was my time to act.
