Chapter 1 - Chatper 1 : The Realization

When I opened my eyes, I found myself sitting on a sofa inside a fairly upscale house. My mom and dad were sitting right beside me. This wasn't one of the top luxury homes in Lucknow, but the interior looked really impressive. A huge TV was mounted on the wall in front, and four or five large sofas were arranged around the living room.

I had come here to see a girl for marriage.

"Damn… this was my story. How the hell did I suddenly end up here?"

I started questioning myself in my head, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remember how I had gotten to this place. I looked around in confusion. Across from me, the girl's father and grandfather were sitting, both smiling like they had just won the lottery. When they noticed me scanning the room, the grandfather spoke in a sweet but cold tone:

"Call the girl."

Other relatives were standing around — not mine, but hers. Maybe my future in-laws. Whatever.

My eyes landed on the girl walking in from inside the house. She was wearing a purple saree, light makeup, and her long black hair flowed down her back. Her waist was ridiculously slim — the kind that would make anyone lose their mind just by looking. She had these cute, beautiful eyes that were currently fixed on the ground. Was she shy? Or was there something else going on?

Everyone in the house looked super happy. But my gaze just wouldn't leave that girl.

My mom noticed me staring and, without any hesitation, said loudly, "Son, the girl you liked has arrived."

The moment she said that, the girl's father smiled wide and spoke, "Yes, beta. Why don't you two go upstairs and talk alone? We elders will handle the rest."

I was internally thrilled. These people were making it so easy. Just a few minutes ago I had opened my eyes here, and now a beautiful girl was standing right in front of me. All my worries had vanished.

I smiled and stood up, waiting for the girl to get up too. But she stayed seated. Her family immediately started glaring at her.

Even an idiot could tell something was off. Of course I understood that too.

Before I could say anything, a woman's voice came from behind me, "Come, I'll take both of you to the room upstairs."

I turned around and… damn.

She looked to be in her thirties, but she was incredibly hot. If her chest size was a little smaller, people would mistake her for a 22-year-old bombshell instead of a MILF. Her figure was the kind that could make anyone's mouth water. Maintaining such a slim waist in her thirties wasn't something everyone could pull off. If she wore jeans and a top instead of a saree, the vibe would be insane.

I was busy mentally praising her when her soft voice brought me back.

"Come on, I'll show you both the way."

If this was a dream, then I was officially making this woman my first MILF in it.

I gave her a small smile and followed her. As we climbed the stairs, the girl (who might become my wife) and this hot older woman were talking. The girl looked nervous. From their conversation, I realized the woman was the girl's elder sister.

I placed a hand on my chest and asked myself — How can I be this wrong? If the girl is 22, how is her sister already in her thirties? But when I saw the distance they maintained — the kind stepsisters usually keep — it clicked. This had to be a stepsister situation.

After climbing the stairs, we stopped in front of a room. The woman opened the door and gave me a sweet smile, as if she was trying to tell me something. I couldn't fully understand her signal, so I just ignored it and stepped inside.

The girl was standing on the balcony, looking at the view outside. When I saw it, I froze for a second. Was this really Lucknow? Everything looked so green and fresh. The sun was setting, painting the sky beautifully. Man, if I had a cup of tea in my hand and this girl beside me, the scene would be perfect.

She noticed me staring outside and cleared her throat. "Ahem."

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her face. The tension from earlier had disappeared. Now she looked angry. She glared at me and said sharply,

"How many times have I told you? I have no interest in you. Still, you came here with a marriage proposal?"

While she was angry, she still looked really cute. But the moment she opened her mouth, I couldn't process what she was saying. Wait… this is supposed to be a dream, right? How can she talk to me like this?

I stared at her more carefully. She spoke again, even more irritated,

"Hey! Are you deaf? I'm talking to you!"

Her tone completely killed my mood. First she said she wasn't interested, and now it felt like she actually hated me. And the way she was speaking…

I was about to reply when something felt familiar. Where have I heard this before? My brain suddenly rang with realization and I blurted out in shock,

"Wait! You're Nishtha?"

My voice was loud with surprise. Even the girl took a small step back. After a second, she replied with a mix of shock and hesitation,

"What the hell? Has your brain stopped working? Or are you saying this on purpose?"

I leaned on the railing, flashed a big smile, and said,

"So… I'm Arisudan?"

I turned my gaze back to the garden, ignoring her. Nishtha immediately snapped,

"How dare you ignore me?!"

Hearing her voice, I couldn't help but chuckle. This was exactly the story I had written long ago and then abandoned.

I was the villain in my own story. Hehe.

With a light laugh, I walked up to Nishtha, wrapped my arm around her slim waist, and pulled her into a hug. For a moment she couldn't process what just happened. Then she pushed me away with both hands and shouted,

"You— How dare you?!"

Her voice was shaking, and her anger had reached its peak.

I don't know why, but she looked even more beautiful when she was furious. Was it because of the sunset light?

I couldn't control myself anymore. I placed my hands on her shoulders and kissed her on the lips.
