Chapter 76 - The Higher-Ups Decided to Send You to Another World

After Ren Isana returned to the classroom and sat down, Asuna couldn't wait to ask, "How did it go? What did they say?"

She was very curious. Could he exchange it for what he wanted? Was Ren's flight magic enough to secure sufficient benefits?

"No problem. All that's left is to wait," Ren replied, in an excellent mood. After learning Director Ken's identity, he was completely at ease about getting the Spatial Ring.

Hearing Ren's words, smiles appeared on the girls' faces, accompanied by a hint of envy. After all, Ren was getting a Spatial Ring without spending a single dime.

Yukino Yukinoshita turned to look at Ren. After a moment of thought, she asked, "I have a question for you. I wonder if you could answer it?"

Hearing this, Ren looked up at Yukino. Their eyes met, and he asked in confusion, "What's your question?"

Yukino brushed a lock of hair aside and slowly voiced the doubt in her heart. "Does your talent allow you to learn things we normally overlook when you fight against us?"

Fearing Ren might not understand, she elaborated, "For example, when we release our talents, there are certain details we neglect. You learn those details, which allows you to incorporate techniques we haven't noticed when you use our moves."

This was the suspicion they had developed while watching Ren fight today. Taking this opportunity, Yukino asked directly. If it were true, Ren's talent would be of immense benefit to everyone, as it could help them develop their own talents!

Faced with Yukino's sudden inquiry, Ren's heart skipped a beat. *Perhaps I can use this explanation to justify why I can use the exact same talents as them in the future?*

With this thought, Ren quickly made a decision. He nodded slowly, rapidly organizing the phenomena of Yukino's talent activation in his mind and the methods required to achieve its effects.

Seeing Ren nod, Yukino's gaze grew serious. *Is it really true?* Just as she thought this, Ren's voice rang out.

"Actually, every time you activate your talent, you instantly channel the True Qi in your body and concentrate it on a single point, right?"

Yukino's eyes widened as she listened to Ren's explanation. *He really can do that?* As Ren explained, she realized that he was pointing out many things she had never noticed.

Now that Ren laid it out, many things suddenly made sense to her. This was a pleasant surprise; asking Ren this question was definitely the right move.

"In fact, the best way to utilize your [Body Control] is to put yourself in a state of absolute calmness and absolute rationality," Ren concluded, offering a piece of advice.

With [Body Control], if she could maintain absolute calmness and rationality, the combat power she could unleash would be absolutely terrifying.

"I understand. Thank you for your help!" Hearing Ren's words, Yukino grasped the underlying principle. To dominate everything about herself—if she could truly remain absolutely calm and rational, coupled with the ability to control other things...

This was incredibly viable. If she could really achieve this, she would have nothing to fear when fighting Ren. Even if she took a beating, she could respond calmly!

"And that's not all. I actually noticed that Shizuka Hiratsuka-sensei's talent focuses on explosive bursts. Since you can perfectly control your body, you can do that too, can't you? Perhaps you should go ask her for some advice!" Ren offered one final suggestion.

This last remark made Yukino nod thoughtfully. *Ask Hiratsuka-sensei?* That was doable, especially since Shizuka had mentioned something similar to her before.

She hadn't been in a rush to research it back then. Having just awakened, she always wanted to figure things out on her own. Now, it seemed she was better off learning from Ren!

Looking at the series of things Ren had told her, it was simply invincible. Now she had a clear understanding of how to use her talent.

"To be honest, given how well you understand my talent, if I didn't know that talents couldn't be learned, I would suspect you had copied mine." Yukino looked at this abnormal guy, a complex glint in her eyes.

After all... having someone else understand your talent better than you did was enough to depress anyone. Right now, Yukino Yukinoshita was feeling very depressed.

*Ren silently gave Yukino a thumbs-up in his heart. Yes, you nailed it. I did copy your talent using my [Jianjigu].* But he couldn't say that out loud.

While the two were chatting, Asuna suddenly sat down next to Ren. Looking at him with a face full of smiles, she said, "My turn! Tell me about mine, Ren!"

"Teacher Ren" was back online. Asking Ren about talents was indeed a viable strategy. Yukino and Asuna's actions were witnessed by the rest of the class.

As a result, no one rested during the lunch break. They all flocked to Ren to ask questions. Having nothing better to do, Ren simply chatted with them about these issues.

It wasn't until the afternoon class bell rang that everyone finally stopped. The afternoon class was still taught by Shizuka Hiratsuka. However, this time, she didn't have everyone continue fighting Ren. Instead, she took the students to the training room on the first floor to review what she had taught earlier.

When the day's classes ended, Ren and the others headed home. Asuna and Ren returned to the apartment building together. After saying goodbye to Asuna at the elevator, Ren went back to his own room.

Just as he was about to use his key to open the door, Ren suddenly froze. Frowning, he simply pulled the door handle and opened it.

As soon as he entered, Ren saw Hestia lying on his sofa. Seeing this girl, Ren's face filled with question marks. Hestia also heard the door open.

"You're finally back! I've been waiting forever!" Seeing Ren, Hestia immediately bounced up and greeted him excitedly.

Ren felt a headache coming on as he looked at the girl who had barged into his home. He asked in confusion, "Miss Goddess, what are you doing in my house? How did you even get in?"

*Is there no end to this? Am I being haunted?* But for her to be here, did that mean the issue with her identity had been resolved? So everything was fine now?

"Hehe, I just walked right in, of course." Hestia looked smug. She hadn't sneaked in; she had walked in openly and honestly. As for how she walked in, that was none of his business!

"So you can move around freely now? What are you doing here? It's impossible for me to become a member of your Familia." Ren frowned, feeling that things weren't that simple. For her to come specifically to his place... Ren took the opportunity to reject her once again.

"I can move around! Ugh, it's so frustrating! Who sends a God Slayer to negotiate with someone? It's simply infuriating!!" Mentioning this, Hestia ignored Ren's rejection and began to complain indignantly.

She had gone to negotiate with Manager Go, only for a God Slayer to pop out and stare her down. It was a blatant provocation, but she couldn't do anything about it because she wasn't good at fighting.

Hearing Hestia's words, Ren caught an important piece of information. *A God Slayer?* That was quite the revelation. They actually had a God Slayer on their side?

And... it was a God Slayer who negotiated with this goddess. Thinking of this, Ren couldn't help but find it amusing. Wasn't that the equivalent of finding her natural predator to negotiate with her?

It was hilarious. No wonder Hestia was so exasperated right now. But that wasn't the reason she was here. Thinking of this, Ren continued, "So, the reason you're here?"

"I have business, of course! Become a member of my Familia!" Hestia brought it up again, staring at Ren with burning eyes.

"I just rejected you. I said it's impossible for me to become a member of your Familia!" Ren shrugged, completely unmoved. It was just too troublesome.

"Don't be in such a hurry to refuse! I've negotiated with the people over there. From now on, everyone in your class can join my Familia and explore the Dungeon!" Hestia announced gleefully.

Hearing this, Ren was stunned. *It's like that? Their entire class had been sold out? Or what exactly was going on?* Ren's heart was full of doubts.

"Tell me, what exactly did you negotiate with them?" Ren walked over and sat on the sofa. He wanted to see what exactly had happened.

"I made a deal with them. I'll give everyone in your class my Falna, and you'll all become my Familia. The God's Grace will allow you to grow rapidly. It's mutually beneficial," Hestia explained the specific situation.

To put it bluntly, she had made an agreement with the higher-ups. They wouldn't restrict her movements and would even support her in forming a Familia. However, she couldn't cause trouble, and she had to help them with certain things when necessary.

As for what those things were, Ren didn't know, and Hestia didn't say. Anyway, the two sides had reached an agreement, which was why Hestia had come to find Ren.

"Hmm... So because they support you creating a Familia, you came to me? And our entire class has to join your Familia?" Ren finally sorted out the current situation.

Hestia nodded eagerly. Yes, that was exactly it. Then she added, "I'll be going to your school tomorrow. I imagine your principal already knows about this."

There was a massive amount of information in those words. The higher-ups supported Hestia creating a Familia, and Hestia chose Ren's side? And the higher-ups agreed.

"Did you choose us? Or did the higher-ups tell you to choose us?" Ren wanted to clarify this point. If she had chosen them herself, that was fine.

If the higher-ups had told her to choose them, then Ren had probably already caught the attention of those big shots. There were likely a bunch of people observing him.

"I chose you, of course! Then they thought about it and agreed. The condition was... everyone in your class has to be included." Hestia didn't hide anything. She wanted Ren, Asuna, and the others.

Then, after some discussion, the other side decided to package the entire class together. After thinking about it, she simply agreed. After all, Ren's classmates were all quite excellent.

Since they were being offered for free, why wouldn't she take them? She chose the package deal. After her explanation, Ren finally understood. So that was the reason.

"So, come be the captain of my Familia! When we go to Orario, you'll be the one calling the shots!" Hestia looked at Ren with a face full of expectation. Now that she had explained everything, Ren should agree, right?

"Wait... did you say go to Orario?" Ren seemed to have heard something incredible. What the hell was this? They were going to Orario?

"Yeah, yeah, go to Orario! As long as you agree, your entire class will come with us to Orario!" Hestia nodded hurriedly. She hadn't misspoken!

"When are we going?" Ren had definitely heard something incredible. He hurriedly asked. Going to Orario meant there was already a passage leading there?

"I don't know. They said we have to wait for their arrangements." Hestia shook her head. She didn't know when they were going either. Anyway, that was what the other side had said. Once the Familia was established, Hestia would take these people to Orario.

Hearing this, Ren understood. Perhaps Ren and the others would become the first Familia to go over there? Because the higher-ups had already investigated that world.

Now a goddess had suddenly appeared and wanted to build a new Familia? That was absolutely perfect. No problem, definitely no problem. Giving her a batch of people to instantly make her a powerful Familia in that world was totally viable.

Ren roughly guessed the higher-ups' intentions. Since that side operated with various Familias as factions, they might as well cultivate one of their own. Plus, this group of people would be able to gain combat experience.

"If that's the case, I accept!" Now that he understood the situation, what reason did Ren have to refuse? He hadn't agreed before because this girl was a hassle.

But now that the higher-ups had decided to send Hestia back, and help her build a Familia in the process...

If that was the case, it was absolutely fantastic. Ren wanted all the various skills and arts from the other world.

Especially since Hestia was friends with the Goddess of Forging. If he wanted to forge any weapons in the future, couldn't he just ask her for help? He could even use his [Jianjigu] to learn a wave of forging skills himself.

"You agree? That's wonderful! Come on, take off your clothes!" Hestia's voice suddenly pitched up. Ren had finally agreed! This was too exciting!!

*Knock, knock, knock!*

Just as she told Ren to take off his clothes, urgent knocking sounded at Ren's door. Hearing the sound, Ren tilted his head, sensed it was Asuna, and called out, "The door's unlocked, come in."

As Ren's voice fell, Asuna pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing Hestia, and recalling the words she had just heard, a strange look flashed through Asuna's eyes.

"Am I interrupting something?" Asuna asked as she walked in. Although her mouth asked if she was interrupting, her face showed absolutely no intention of caring if she was.

"No, you're right on time. There's something I need to tell you. It concerns our upcoming training." Ren gestured for Asuna to come over and sit down, then repeated the things Hestia had just told him.

Hearing this, Asuna looked at Hestia in surprise. The higher-ups had actually made such a decision? And they planned to send their entire class to another world.

"That's right! You're right on time. You take off your clothes too, I'll give you my Falna!" Seeing Asuna, Hestia's eyes lit up. Perhaps she was too excited, but she completely disregarded Ren's presence and directly told Asuna to strip.

Hearing this, Ren immediately gave a mental thumbs-up. This was the moment he supported Hestia the most. *Good job, Hestia!* However, Asuna just rolled her eyes at her.
