Erwin Coff looked at the burning daylight as night slowly approached the city of Eden, while on break he thought about his past life. In his past life he was an orphan and in this life he was also an orphan, he drowned himself in work and to past the time he played games that felt surreal to him as he imagine himself rising to the top of the world in those games.
Reality was brutal though , while playing a game he died and was reborn in this world. He does not remember much, the first thing he remembered was the orphanage and then his memories of his past life came to light soon after he came of age of 18.
Now at the age of 27 he seemed to have been back in the slow grind of life, as the bell tolls Erwin went back to work and finished his shift at the warehouse. Going back to his unremarkable apartment as he was showering he heard a prompt inside his mind. "CONNECTING OPERATIONAL STATUS..."

Inside his mind he saw the game he loved and played for hours "Blood and interstellar Sins" , Erwin was a legendary figure in the game. His organization was rank in the top 3 in the game, he played this game with zeal and appreciation as he imagine himself operating this unstoppable and invincible enterprise in the interstellar future that he has built throughout the years in the game.
Getting out the shower he went into his living room and with surprise and shock he looked inward in the screen within his mind, thinking what's the use of the game within his mind he though of something. Checking the game interface and seeing that everything was running in way above optimal conditions he decided to experiment. checking his almost unlimited inventory that was full of almost everything you could think of he clicked on an item.
The selected item glowed with a highlight.
"Yellow ash (BB101) - a Drug enhanced by chemical compounds Valtrex (31715) and Cinnon (88101) and then chemically impacted and compounded into powder creating a yellow compound know as yellow ash, drug effect designed to grant large stimulus to the user motor functisons and dopamine functions creating a massive high and very stimulating function to the nerve endings of each synapse.
Looking at the effect he imagined the item in front of him and with a thud the item that was in cased in a what seemed like a futuristic box appeared on the table in the living room of his apartment. Looking at with surprising agitation of excitement he grabbed the box and inspected it.
Upon inspection the box a passkey appeared in his consciousness and he opened the box , within a box there was a large block of compacted yellow powder, grabbing a pinch of it he felt the texture of the yellow ash, to him it felt like very refined fine grain of sand.
Erwin did some experimentation when he was younger but with the game items he did not know how to use such drug so he checked the description again, finding the additional use of usage he clicked and he realized it can be used in many way in oral or practical use many drugs that can be used.
With a pinch he put the powder on his tongue and the effect was immediate, all his senses spiked to the max with great effects he felt more than alive at that moment. Erwin experimented within his apartment throughout the hours into the night until the morning. Looking at the approaching dawn, Erwin got the gist on how the game work within his consciousness. He then touched the box and put it back within his inventory.
Not feeling a bit tired as the Yellow ash wore off , he was about to go to sleep as the day today was the weekend but as he was about to head to bed his phone rang, unlocking the screen of his phone a name appeared Bryant Leon.
Bryant is Erwins Co-worker and also one of his only few friends in the warehouse, accepting the call Bryant charming and energetic voice came.
"Hey what's up?"
Erwins smiled as Bryant always been an energetic and charismatic person.
"Noting much, what's up?"
Bryant excitedly asked if Erwin was free as he needed a partner for a double blind date later that evening and with nothing to do but sleep today Erwin happily oblige.
"Good! , see you at 6 pm sharp"
Hanging up his phone , Erwin set an alarm early evening and went to bed, awaken by the alarm at 4 in the afternoon. Erwin got up and ate a small snack and cleaned himself up good to look as much as presentable as he can for his friend Bryant and his lady friend.
Arriving in the designated meeting at the Avenue mall at a restaurant in a prompt and timely manner but when he got there Bryant was already there, as he approached Bryant waved at him. Sitting down they started with some Idle chatter about the women that they were going to meet.
Within the information Erwin deduce that the two girls were college girls , seniors from Eden University or EdenU as many people call it. Bryant apparently met one of them by coincidence at a party and they hit it off and set this double date. As they were talking the two girls arrive, one dark brunet girl and one with blonde hair. The Blonde girl immediately gave Bryant a hug and then they introduce themselves to Erwin.
The blonde girl name is Sasha and the dark brunet is Emilia, they talked and soon after the festivities in the table began, they ordered their food and drinks then walked around in the Avenue mall. As the night went on they ended up in a club in downtown Eden called " The Galore Galley" meeting up with Sasha and Emilia friends and since it's weekend the night life was vibrant in Eden.
Inside the Galley the music was blaring of electronic music , intoxicating feeling from the environment and people that drank on the bar , dance on the floor, or sat and talked with their friends. The girls looked around and soon found their friends on the second floor that overlooked the venue.
Upon arriving the girls introduce Bryant and Erwin to their friends that covered two tables, there were at least a dozen or so people that Bryant and Erwin were introduce to. Erwin caught some of the names but he didn't remember most of them, just their physical features and their faces. As the night went on more of Sasha and Emilia friends arrived prompting the group to move to a private box as apparently one of Sasha and Emilia friend knew the owner.
In the private box the group packed in, drinks flowed and conversations resumed. As the night continued a man entered the private box, Erwin was surprise to see a man that maybe as young as in his early thirties accompanied by two other man that was flanking him.
"Rafael!" one of the woman in the group went over and hugged the man
Once they hugged the woman known as Daniell introduced the man to the group, He was Rafael Codak the owner of the club.
"Hello everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the night" The man named Rafael smiled at the group.
The group happily answered his questions with a smile.
Out of nowhere the girl named Daniell asked if Rafael got the " Gray smok"
Rafael looked around and seem to gauge the group before nodding in agreement to one of the guys that was flanking him, the man introduced himself as Rock Del and he would be in charge of the box and if they need anything just ask him. Rafael soon exited the box with his other compatriot and the group soon went toward the man named Rock Del inquiring.
Bryant nudge Erwin asking if they should acquire something from the guy , Erwin told him if he wanted to he should get what he wanted. Bryant without a thought went and placed an order, Erwin knew he dig hollow tree a plant based substance grown in the mountains that creates a small euphoria in the brain making the user calm and relaxed.
Gray smok is different though it is a powder substance made from chemically altered roots , dried and hollowed by chemical compounds, the problem was that the purer the Gray smok was the more expensive it was. After getting their order the man called the group orders in and soon after a man came in with a satchel.
"One at a time" The man name Rock said and a orderly line was formed towards the man.
Erwin though he should join in the festivities since he was out and while everyone was focused on the man named Rock , Erwin summoned his inventory and took out a small amount of yellow ash. Putting the substance inside a napkin and stuffing it in his pocket. After everyone got their goods the room seemed to have come livelier, some of the people were doing Gray smok, some hollow tree and many more substance were in the floating around the place.
Sasha bought some Gray smok and invited Bryant over, Bryant thought why not and shared his Hollow trees with her and while they were doing that Amelia sat beside Erwin.
"Wanna do some Gray smok?" Emilia asked Erwin but he turned it down saying he got something better.
Erwin knew the effects of Gray smok, within low quality it only last for thirty minutes with a side effect of what seems to be withdrawals , the higher quality is the same but the high is better but the withdrawal symptoms seems the same.
"Are you sure ?" Emilia seemed disappointed
"I got something better" Erwin smiled and took out the napkin in his pocket and slowly opened it.
"What's that?" Emilia seemed surprised, She has never seen substance like fine grain of sand.
"Its called Yellow ash, Wanna try?" Erwin put some on the table and started cutting two small lines for them to snort.
Emilia looked at the two small lines and then at Erwin but decided to trust him and decided to humor him since she and him seemed to have hit it off since the beginning but she was thinking " What would two small lines do?", folding the bill she put it on her nose and snorted a line.
The hit to her brain was instantaneous , it seemed like a small world exploded in her consciousness. The rush was so unbelievable she could not believe what she was feeling, her mind sharp, focus but high and her body was also responding the same way. This was beyond what a drug should accomplish, it was beyond what she could imagine a drug could succeed within the human body.
Emilia looked at Erwin dumbfounded as Erwin took the bill from her and snorted the small line, with a smile Erwin asked if she was satisfied.
"Yes!" Emilia kinda slightly yelled grabbing the attention of some of the group.
"You okay?" Sasha questioned Emilia with a confused face
"Erwin can they?" She Asked if Erwin can share some of his Yellow ash with the group.
"I supposed so" Erwin can happily complied since she will share the information about yellow ash within the group anyways.
Emilia called Sasha and Bryant over first and after the initial shock of the two ,Emilia then called others over who were willing to try Yellow Ash with Erwin permission of course. Once everyone who wanted to try Yellow ash Tried it the same thing happened the initial shock then the excitement.
The room became more energetic, those who did not try Yellow ash asked the people who have tried it about it and they got the same conclusion, Yellow ash was legit really fantastically great. Daniell the woman went up to Erwin and asked if he could get a small sample of it and Erwin happily gave her some. She then walked up to Rock the man that supplied them and talked to him, pointing at Erwin.
Rock was skeptical about the sample he got from Daniell , She said its called Yellow Ash and it's great, Daniell was the bosses friend so he made a call and a man came soon taking the sample of Yellow Ash with him to his boss Rafael.
