Chapter 58 - Rumble Fruit Power Unsealed, Danzo’s Killing Intent

"Thirty Million Volts — Thunderbird!"

Akira raised his hand, palm forward. Instantly, a lightning bird formed—crackling with golden-blue electricity. With a flick of his will, it shot forward and slammed into a stone hill dozens of meters away.

"Boom!!"

The impact was terrifying. A radius of over ten meters was scorched black, and several centimeters of the rock surface were reduced to dust.

"Thirty Million Volts — Thunder Beast!"

"Sixty Million Volts — Thunder Dragon!"

A thunder beast and then a thunder dragon formed in succession—each stronger than the last—charging forward and smashing into the hill again, blasting out two massive craters.

After that, Akira tested other techniques—Raigo, Mankai lightning storms, and more.

Finally—

"Two Hundred Million Volts — Thunder God!"

He took a deep breath.

Endless golden-blue lightning surged from his body, wrapping around him and forming a colossal thunder giant over ten meters tall.

In its hand, a halberd made of pure lightning condensed—

And then it slashed down.

"BOOM!"

With a deafening explosion, the fifty-meter-tall stone hill was split clean in half. Debris scattered everywhere, and the ground was charred black.

"Phew…"

Akira dispelled the Thunder God form and exhaled deeply. After sensing his condition, he muttered, "About a quarter of my stamina… not bad."

After unleashing so many high-consumption techniques, that level of drain was already impressive.

Without the physique he gained from Rob Lucci, he wouldn't have been able to sustain it at all.

Even Enel needed those drums on his back to store lightning energy just to extend his endurance.

Akira had no intention of punching holes in his back for that.

"But… maybe I can make equipment to store electricity."

He stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"I remember this world has battery technology… I could create a special storage bracelet—fill it with high-capacity batteries, connect it to the outside, and allow myself to store, absorb, and release electricity."

"That way, during real battles, I can draw on external power instead of draining myself."

The idea quickly took shape in his mind.

Acting immediately, Akira left the space ring and began designing and crafting the bracelet.

With the knowledge inherited from Nicolas Flamel, especially the modified Extension Charm, the process wasn't difficult.

The batteries themselves could be handled later.

By the time he finished crafting two storage bracelets, it was already late at night.

After stretching, taking a bath, and settling down, he began his nightly training.

The next morning, Akira headed to the commercial district to look for batteries.

To his surprise—

He actually found them.

After some negotiation, he successfully purchased enough batteries to completely fill two ten-cubic-meter storage bracelets.

"Man… battery tech in this world is terrible. Low capacity and insanely expensive. Five million ryo just to fill two bracelets… what a loss."

On the way back, he couldn't help but complain.

According to his estimate, the total stored electricity in both bracelets was only about twice the amount of lightning he could generate at full stamina.

"Barely enough. Hopefully I can exchange for high-capacity batteries in the future… that would massively increase my endurance and cost far less."

Since it was a large order, the shop quickly delivered everything.

Akira had them move the batteries into a nearby storage room.

"Please come again, sir! Next time I'll definitely give you the best price!"

The shop owner smiled brightly as he left.

A single deal like this had cleared out most of his inventory—he had made a fortune.

"Sure, sure."

Akira waved him off with a smile—while swearing internally to never buy again.

The expenses were insane.

The 30 million ryo he got from Sakumo Hatake had been nearly drained. Only five to six million remained.

On the bright side, the chakra metal sword he ordered earlier had already been completed.

And it was excellent.

Its chakra and lightning conductivity were top-tier. Combined with his Lightning Release swordsmanship, his lethality had skyrocketed.

After everyone left, Akira entered the storage room and stored all the batteries into the bracelets, connecting them properly.

Then he began channeling lightning into them.

By the time his stamina was completely depleted, the bracelets were only about half charged.

Clearly, there was some conversion loss—but not too severe.

Over the next two days, Akira focused on mastering his new strength and began experimenting with integrating Rokushiki into his swordsmanship.

For example, Soru could perfectly complement lightning-based movement techniques.

Two days later—

The graduation exam arrived.

The result?

Completely one-sided.

The Third Hokage arranged a Chunin as Akira's opponent.

And Akira—

Defeated him in a single strike.

Most observers only saw a flash of golden-blue lightning—

And the Chunin collapsed.

"This kid… what speed. What a blade."

Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn't help but sigh in admiration.

Even Danzo Shimura and the others showed clear shock.

"This brat's talent exceeds my expectations… unfortunate that he's Sakumo's disciple."

Danzo's thoughts turned dark.

"Can't let him continue growing. I need to deal with him."

"If he can't be used… then he must be destroyed."

He had already learned that Akira was the one who orchestrated the public opinion reversal that humiliated him.

His hatred had only deepened.

Now, seeing Akira's terrifying talent, rapid growth, and intelligence—

His killing intent surged.

A genius with strength, speed, and brains—

Was the most dangerous kind.

"Perfect timing. Now that he's graduating early, it'll be much easier to act. If he stayed hidden in the village, it would've been troublesome…"

Danzo sneered inwardly.

To him, Akira had just walked into his own grave.

"Hmm?"

Just as Akira stepped off the arena, he suddenly felt a strong sense of malice.

Looking up—

His gaze met Danzo's.

Seeing the killing intent in Danzo's eyes, Akira's lips curled into a faint smile.

"Danzo… interesting."

"Don't disappoint me."

"I'm waiting for you to make your move."

Three days ago, he might've been cautious.

Now?

He had no real fear.

At the very least—

Danzo no longer posed a true threat to him.
