"World peace, huh? Not a bad dream."
Shinku Yuhi nodded, then looked toward Kakashi.
Kakashi immediately spoke, "My name is Hatake Kakashi. I specialize in swordsmanship, I'm decent with Lightning Release ninjutsu, and my taijutsu is alright. My hobbies are salt-grilled saury and sword training. As for my dream… I want to become a great ninja like my father."
No matter how others judged his father, Kakashi believed he was a great ninja—and he wouldn't accept any argument against that.
"I see. That's a good goal as well."
Shinku nodded. In his eyes, Sakumo Hatake truly was a great ninja. At the very least, Shinku didn't think Sakumo was wrong for abandoning a mission to save his comrades.
If it were him, he would have made the same choice.
"Alright, that's enough for today. Tomorrow at 8 a.m., meet at the Hokage building entrance. I'll take you on your first mission."
He paused before adding, "Prepare your combat gear and daily supplies. This mission will take us outside the village."
"Understood!"
Both Kakashi and Akira responded excitedly.
A mission outside the village—at minimum, a C-rank mission.
Anything was better than cleaning toilets, picking up trash, or chasing cats and dogs.
They hadn't graduated early just to do that kind of work.
"Dismissed."
With that, Shinku vanished from the training ground.
"Phew…"
Only after confirming Shinku had left did Akira let out a long breath.
"Heh."
Kakashi couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "You actually get nervous too? I feel like Sensei has some kind of issue with you. That look he gave you—full of hostility. When did you offend him?"
"When? It's because of Kurenai!"
Akira rolled his eyes. "Our dear teacher is a complete daughter-con. I've walked her home a few times—he knows about us. Of course he's not happy."
"Forget it. Let's go prepare for the mission. You need supplies too, right? Want to go together?"
Kunai, shuriken, explosive tags, even soldier pills—they all needed to stock up.
Speaking of soldier pills, Akira absolutely hated their taste.
Maybe someday he'd exchange for better medical knowledge—or even alchemy.
Or advanced nutrient solutions.
Anything would be better than those disgusting pills.
"Sure."
Kakashi agreed without hesitation.
The two headed to the commercial district, bought a batch of supplies, then went their separate ways.
"Pikachu, go play for a bit. I need to prepare some things."
As soon as he got home, Akira released Pikachu from the Beast Taming Space.
"Pika pika!" (You broke your promise! You locked me up in there all day again! I'm angry! It'll take at least ten big meals to make up for it!)
Pikachu crossed its arms and protested the moment it came out.
"Haha!"
Akira laughed and rubbed its head. "Today was a special case—I had my exam, so I couldn't let you out."
"Starting tomorrow, I'll be leaving the village for missions. Then I can take you out properly, and you'll even get to fight. Don't be mad, okay?"
To legitimize Pikachu's existence, Akira had even obtained the Summoning Technique training method and a blank summoning scroll from Tsunade.
"Pika?" (Really?)
Pikachu looked at him suspiciously.
"Of course."
Akira nodded firmly.
"Pika pika!" (Fine! I'll trust you one more time! But ten meals—no cheating!)
Pikachu raised both tiny paws to emphasize the number.
It just so happened—ten little digits.
"Haha, alright, alright! I promise. Just don't eat so much that you turn into a ball."
"Pika!" (As if! (`へ′*)ノ)
With a disdainful huff, Pikachu wriggled free and ran off to play in the yard.
Meanwhile, Akira returned to his room.
He took out several copied medical books, along with scrolls containing Healing Technique, Cellular Extraction Technique, Mystical Palm Technique, and Chakra Extraction Technique.
Holding them in his left hand, he condensed a mass of chakra in his right.
"Exchange."
In the next instant, everything vanished from his hands.
A new scene appeared in his mind.
The One Piece world—Drum Island.
Inside a towering cylindrical mountain castle—
Dr. Kureha was chugging alcohol straight from a bottle when suddenly, she noticed that many of her medical instruments and books had disappeared.
"What the hell?!"
She immediately stood up, scanning the room before roaring, "Which brat dared to steal from me?! Are you tired of living?!"
As she spoke, a powerful aura burst from her body—
It was unmistakably Conqueror's Haki.
Who would've thought this seemingly obscure doctor was actually a top-tier Haki user?
She then used Observation Haki to scan the surroundings several times, but found no trace of a thief.
Instead—
She discovered her medicinal storage was completely empty.
"Damn it! If I find you, you're dead!"
This time, she was truly furious.
Just then—
Several items fell from the air and landed at her feet.
"Hm? What's this?"
Kureha bent down and picked them up.
The moment she touched the chakra seed, her body froze.
A flood of information entered her mind.
"I see… so this is a forced exchange?"
A grin slowly formed on her face.
"Let's see if what I got… is worth what I lost."
