It included the spots of many Pokémon families—even the three famous Kanto starters.

Because I like to read.
Cynthia:

Anyway, let's leave and play or explore.
Saturo:

Cynthia grabbed a book.
Saturo:

They cleaned the room and then started playing hide and seek, after which they got so tired—mainly because a certain white-haired boy decided to place water balloons all over the place, including the hiding spots.

As Saturo pressed the trigger of the modified toy gun, he blew up the water balloon above Cynthia's head.

Saturo turned the gun on her.
Cynthia ducked behind the couch for cover.

Cynthia, wanting revenge, moved from behind the couch to grab the toy gun—placed there by Saturo on purpose, knowing her antics.
He pulled a rope, splashing her face with a mountain of flour.

You should thank me. Now you should be dry.
Cynthia used the toy gun—but the gun was fake, the opposite of a water type.
She got splashed with even more water.

She started rushing toward Saturo.
Saturo:
('....') Nah—I run.
They both started running all around the place. Eventually, Saturo was laughing at the exhausted Cynthia, who was struggling to run because the floor had become slippery due to the water.
Cynthia suddenly started screaming intentionally.
Saturo ran over to help and extended a hand.
Cynthia's eyes sparkled with killing intent.
Finally got you.
They both fell together.
Saturo used the last ammo and aimed it at the roof. That shot somehow hit the last balloon—literally turning them into snowmen because of the flour.

Then they proceeded to clean the whole house with Hattrem and their eggs.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared—the eggs started evolving.
Saturo and Cynthia, not knowing what was going on, came closer.
As the light subsided, it revealed a tiny blue, red-mouthed Pokémon and a white-and-yellow Pokémon.
(Normally, the first person a Pokémon sees becomes their trainer—or the one they see as a parent or guardian. But since both children were standing so close, both Pokémon imprinted on both of them.)
Gible:
"Gible, gible?" (tilting its head, wondering how to address them)
Beldum:
"Bel… beldum."
Both kids grabbed one each and started spinning in circles, then ran straight to the Pokémon Center.
Where Nurse Joy wanted to kill these brats—
Because how the hell did these two get alpha pseudo-legendaries… and one of them is shiny?!
