Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: The Sorceresses

Asa returned to the Wizarding World once again.

It had only been three minutes since Tissaia left, but Asa was already confident.

Immediately upon his return, Asa began to communicate with magic; under his soothing touch, the violent fire elements in the air became exceptionally docile.

"Foolish. Have you finished the book? Why have you started already?"

Tissaia hadn't gone far before she turned back.

"Teacher, I am communicating with the fire elements."

Asa gaze was innocent.

She was startled; Tissaia let out a long sigh of relief, thinking that in just a few minutes, Asa had already thoroughly read the entire book and was preparing to cast Dragons Breath.

If that were the case, he truly wouldn't be human.

A false alarm. Tissaia chose to leave quickly; her previous action had exposed her, making it seem as if she cared deeply about Asa situation.

"Then continue. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll be going."

Tissaia left in a hurry.

The mentor's retreating figure seemed a bit flustered, making this several-hundred-year-old grandmother look a little cute.

After a brief experiment in 2077, returning to the Wizarding World made the magic in the air feel particularly familiar; Asa recent actions were precisely to verify a hypothesis from the other world.

Try again; he had just been suddenly interrupted by his teacher.

Time flew by, and a month later.

"How should I show you?"

In the wooden mansion on Thanedd Island, she sat behind her desk while Asa stood opposite her, his posture quite relaxed.

"Looking at you, you seem very confident."

"Of course."

Asa was full of confidence. After more than a month of attempts, while not saying one hundred percent, he had at least a ninety or even a hundred percent certainty.

Moreover, not long ago, he had personally tried casting the spell and had completely mastered it as a skill.

Since the minimum requirement for Dragons Breath was 5 points in the Air attribute, Asa had personally simplified it; the range was slightly smaller, but it still qualified as a high-tier spell.

"I hope your learning progress matches your confidence. Don't move until I tell you to cast the spell."

"Here?"

Asa looked around; the wooden building didn't look like a testing ground for magic in any way.

"Follow me."

Tissaia gave a light snort and once again cast teleportation magic.

Purple radiance instantly enveloped the entire room, and Tissaia stepped calmly into the teleportation circle.

By the time Asa caught up, the two were standing by the sea, the cool sea breeze blowing against them and messing up their hair.

"Is this open enough?" Asa was about to cast the spell, but Tissaia raised her hand slightly to stop him.

"Wait a moment, others are coming."

"What? Teacher, you didn't mention this before."

How could he let others watch something as private as spellcasting?

"This is a learning progress assessment. If you truly want to learn more magic, you must first prove yourself to your future mentors."

"I see. Are my future mentors coming? Male or female?"

Tissaia could hardly hold back a roll of her eyes. This kid—was devouring Yennefer not enough? Did he want more?

From any perspective, he was an excellent lover. Since sorceresses were infertile anyway, there was no harm in letting them enjoy themselves.

"They are all my students."

Asa was overjoyed.

Unsure how Tissaia had notified them, a moment later, three teleportation lights lit up one after another, and three graceful, mature, and beautiful sorceresses stepped out of the arrays.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The system's notification sound was even more excited than Asa.

But Asa gaze was first drawn to a large expanse of snowy white. It was the leading Sorceress, with dark brown shoulder-length hair and soft facial features. Her outfit left a large portion of her chest exposed, barely covering the most critical spots.

As expected of sorceresses, they were indeed generous.

[Discovered important story female character: Margarita Laux-Antille. Establishing an intimate relationship can yield rewards.]

[Discovered important story female character: Sabrina Glevissig. Establishing an intimate relationship can yield rewards.]

[Discovered important story female character: Sheala de Tancarville. Establishing an intimate relationship can yield rewards.]

Three notifications rang out in succession, leaving Asa dazzled.

As soon as the three sorceresses appeared, their gazes fell simultaneously upon the only male present.

"Come, let me introduce you."

Tissaia pointed to the three in turn.

"Sabrina Glevissig will be responsible for teaching you Elemental Magic; this is Sheala de Tancarville, and Mind Spells are one of her specialties; and this one, Margarita Laux-Antille, will supplement your knowledge in Alchemy."

After speaking, Tissaia looked at Asa meaningfully. "Of course, the prerequisite is that you must prove yourself."

"I don't believe a high-tier spell can be learned in a month."

A red-haired Sorceress spoke first.

"Teacher, is this black-haired boy your student? I heard he's also Yennefer's lover?"

The leading red-haired Sorceress's attitude wasn't great; Asa couldn't figure out where her hostility was coming from for a moment.

"Mastering a high-tier spell in a month? Even a reincarnated Ancient Elf couldn't do that."

She made an immediate judgment. "Calling us here is purely a waste of time."

The Sorceress with her hair in a triangular bun seemed more composed, but she was equally lacking in confidence.

She said bluntly:

"Boy, it's been less than two months since you first touched magic, hasn't it? Do you have some secret to success?"

As she spoke, her gaze toward Asa carried a hint of curiosity.

Only the boldly dressed brown-haired Sorceress seemed much friendlier.

She smiled at Asa, her fair skin so bright it made him squint.

"Ladies," Asa spread his hands, "before you continue your mockery, could you at least let me prove myself first?"

"Let's get this over with quickly," Tissaia urged.

Asa said no more. Facing the sea, he formed hand seals and muttered incantations.

In the Wizarding World, all magic-triggering spells originate from the ancient language—the language of the elves.

Although human sorcerers are now more prosperous than elves, they are, in the end, merely standing on the shoulders of Giants.

It is only natural for sorcerers to use the ancient language to communicate with magic.

"What?"

Along with Asa ancient language, the flow of elements in the air changed abruptly.
