'RWBY' Comment Section
["Excited before the movie started, excited while watching it, and still excited after it ended. The only animated movie that's ever given me this kind of experience is probably 'RWBY.' While watching, I was honestly afraid that even blinking might make me miss some amazing scene. Right now, I desperately want to share my damn excitement with other people. Oh~ Shite! You really need to go watch this movie! It's seriously awesome! — Gentleman Falster"]
["I never expected Weiss to be this kind of character. Before the movie, I always thought Weiss was a cold and elegant princess as well as an incredibly capable female knight. The Weiss in the movie definitely possesses those traits, but her behavior and attitude actually feel more like a proud, noble young lady unfamiliar with the outside world. Yet during the final scenes, Weiss Schnee gave me a completely different impression. She didn't fully match my expectations, nor is she usually my preferred character type, but I still ended up loving Weiss Schnee, this strong girl. — Sean"]
["Fantastic movie setting! It lacks the rigid traditional Western style while still maintaining its own unique identity. What satisfied me most was the absence of the frivolous atmosphere common in Japanese fantasy stories. I hate seeing protagonist-type characters die, and I hate villains being forcibly redeemed even more. I heard this animation was produced by a Japanese company, so I was initially worried something like that would happen. Thankfully, it delivered an ending that felt satisfying in every way. — Strawberry-Flavored Chocolate"]

This is probably the lowest score I can give. 'RWBY' is an incredibly sincere animated movie. Even someone like me, who normally doesn't enjoy animated films, was deeply captivated. The combat choreography, especially, is unbelievably distinctive. There's a five-minute, uninterrupted Yang versus Immortal Knight battle scene midway through the story that completely stunned me. I swear to God, I've never seen any film or television work that could compare to it. The plot itself isn't especially shocking or thought-provoking, but it undeniably has clear themes and emotions it wants to express. Combined with innovative worldbuilding and excellent character portrayal, I think this straightforward style of storytelling is exactly what suits the work best. — Wolf Wilski"]
["I'm a fan of a certain livestreamer, so I originally wasn't very interested in this movie. But during one of the streamer's events, I won a free viewing pass. Coincidentally, I had nothing to do this weekend, and honestly~ I should probably be grateful I didn't miss this animated film. It isn't boring like those fairy-tale adaptation movies, nor is it as dull as traditional fantasy films. It feels more like a heavily modified action blockbuster. The wide variety of enemy designs made it incredibly enjoyable to watch. I also really liked the four female protagonists. I feel like there must be some pure and beautiful bond between them. I mean, who doesn't enjoy watching four beautiful girls together? — Caesar"]
["Thank you to 'Fakebook,' and thank you, Robert! I never expected that, besides the English subtitle version, there would also be other language versions prepared. Originally, I thought I'd have to struggle through the premiere with my mediocre English and wait until a Chinese version was released to watch it again. That definitely would've lessened the experience. The quality of the Chinese subtitles alone is enough to show 'Fakebook's attitude toward the 'RWBY' movie. They truly didn't disappoint us Chinese fans.]
["And honestly, 'RWBY' gives people a strangely amusing feeling. A Japanese animation company actually made an American-style animated film, and it even perfectly catered to Western audiences' tastes. Of course, this is undoubtedly a successful example. The work's overall style is extremely balanced. Whether you like Japanese animation or American animation, you can watch it comfortably without feeling out of place.
I'm not a professional film critic, so I can't write any deep or brilliant analysis. All I can say is that 'RWBY' is the most exciting, attractive, and entertaining animated movie I've ever watched in my life. — Life Goes On"]
["Thank you to the Yosuganosora production team for giving me two wonderful hours. I had a fantastic weekend. — Hasak"]
["[Visuals so beautiful they surpass their era! Incredibly engaging worldbuilding! Addictive combat systems! Character designs you'll fall in love with at first sight!] I used to think phrases like these only existed in advertisements—until I watched 'RWBY'! This movie truly deserves a theatrical release. Even if I had to pay ten times the normal ticket price, I'd still gladly go watch it! — Kumar"]
