The water bullets pierced through the wall of fire and pierced his leg. That was only because he jumped in time.

As he landed, Tyler couldn't help but grunt. The blood spilled out of his thigh and below the knee.
Although his Fire Wall didn't stop those water bullets, it managed to slow them down enough for him to jump higher.
Only two of the water bullets hit him while the other one missed.
"You can't win this battle. He is using True Essence. It's not the same as using True Mana since True Mana is produced from True Essence."
Xue's voice rang in his head, making him momentarily pause.
"You need to run away. With your current speed and mastery of Instant Steps, you can run away. That guy will run out of True Essence in ten minutes."
The moment Tyler heard that, he paused for a split second before shaking his head.
The Dragon Scales appeared over his body, speeding up the regeneration and healing the wounds.
