Every day used to feel heavy. Morning to night it was emptiness that had no bottom, life felt soulless, living itself felt torturous. Why live if this world is painted in grey? Why? Why?
My daydream was broken by someone's voice. Ah it's professor Daniel. The youngest and talented professor who is a genius like no other. Still what a waste wasting his skill by simply teaching... It sure is a prestigious academy. I was spacing out again.
"Rupert?" A stern voice bought me back to reality. "I'm sorry what did you say?" I ask and he keeps on staring at me. Myself with my uncanny black hair and black eyes that is as dark as the darkness kept staring. What should I do? The professor seems calm well he's always calm yet for some reason he keeps staring at me. Is this supposed to be intimidating? Am I going to get sent out of the class room again? Well I suppose I couldn't care less. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly he smiled as if he was amused. Huh this weirdo. "Sit down for now and try to not stray deep into your thoughts next time. The weather is after all quite dark, isn't it?" He sad and went back to teach physics. I pondered over the last sentence, why would he even mention weather? It was rainy alright but then again why? Hah I shook my head and listened to the lecture with half a mind and the other lost to darkness deep within me.
