Army Camp, Outskirts of the Nyx realm.
Later that night after settling in her new room, Lena went around to see her new place as she never has stayed at an army camp before like any typical princess. While snooping around the camp she overheard some guards speaking about something it wasn't clear, so she leaned on the wall to hear what they were talking about.
"Did you know that Lord Executioner has gone missing during the rebel uprising in his kingdom". The plumpy looking guard says to the other guard with a scar on his face, " which Lord Executioner are you speaking of Ken".
"The one who ascended from the mortal realm, Lord Leon Solarian. Some tell that he became the lap dog of the heaven, ruthlessly killing anyone the heaven ordered to just for gaining authority, as expected he soon climbed up in the ranks and become one of the famous Lord Executioner, and it didn't stop there he single handedly dealt with the most notorious elite guards of the Thayil realm and captured the kingdom. The heaven rewarded him by coronating him as the ruler of that realm and he changed the realm's name to Solaris".
"Then why did he run off, clearly those small fries aren't even capable of making him sweat and he is favoured by the heavens. Wouldn't they have helped him to win; there is more to this than what meets the eye".
Lena accidently steps on the branch making the guards to look in her direction "who goes there, show yourself". The guard with the scar on his face shouts and draws his sword.
Lena shows herself "hello there, didn't we meet before with the captain". She smiles awkwardly and scratches her head lightly, " Lena it's you, what are you doing out here didn't captain said you to rest for a while in your room". He asks worriedly.
"I forgot the way to my room, and I am fine now see for yourself". She jumps and stretches her arms and legs, Joel laughs at her antics " yep, you are strong alright".
"So, you heard all of it" he asks her "yes I did, sorry" she apologies. " It's fine but don't mention about this matter Infront of our captain, he idolizes Lord Leon if he happens to know that we gossiped about him. We will be in trouble". He begs for her to keep this conversation a secret.
"Of course I will take this secret to my grave". She smiles, her stomach growls making her feel embarrassed. "Seems someone is really hungry" he smiles "it's about time for the dinner; I will save you a spot first as it is hard to get one". He looks at Ken and asks him to accompany her to the food camp.
Once they reached the food camp Joel was already waiting for them at a table, he waves at them to come over. "Here I got the meal for you guys, lets dig in first". Lena thanks him begins to devour the food before her. Seeing that made Joel to smile "slow down you are going to choke yourself, by the way you haven't said much about yourself". "Let me finish this first and let's talk about this outside with less people". Lena replies to Joel, he agrees to it by nodding and they continued to eat.
