The bath structure behind the hut was finally taking shape, its wooden frame standing stronger than before as Kael and Riven worked with a strange, almost competitive silence. Every beam placed, every joint tightened, every measurement corrected had slowly turned what was once chaos into something real, something functional, something that now looked like it actually belonged in this world rather than being a desperate attempt at comfort.

Kael wiped his forehead with a frustrated breath. "If this collapses, I'm blaming you."

Riven didn't even look up. "It will not collapse."

"It better not."

"It won't."

Kael clicked his tongue. "You say that too confidently."

Riven calmly tightened another support. "Because I am correct."

From the side, Theo, Leon, and Noella were sitting together on a fallen log, watching the ongoing work like it was the most entertaining performance in the world.

Theo leaned slightly forward. "They argue less when she's not here."

Leon nodded. "Because they're scared."

Noella tilted her head. "No. They're worse when she's here."

Theo frowned. "How?"

Noella smiled. "They try to impress."

Kael immediately pointed at them. "We are not trying to impress anyone."

Riven added calmly, "That is inaccurate."

Kael turned sharply. "Stop agreeing with the children!"

Before the argument could escalate further, the hut door opened.

She stepped out.

As always, everything paused for half a second.

Not because she demanded it.

But because it simply happened.

Her eyes moved across the structure, assessing, calm and unreadable. Then she nodded once.

"It's stable," she said.

Kael straightened immediately. "Yes. Obviously."

Riven added, "Nearly complete."

She gave a short nod. "Good."

Then she turned toward the children. "Stay away from it until I say otherwise."

Theo nodded. "We know."

Leon added, "We learned last time."

Noella raised her hand. "I only touched it once."

Kael immediately pointed. "That was too much."

She ignored them and turned to leave—but Kael spoke again.

"…wait."

She stopped.

Slowly turned. "What."

Kael hesitated, then exhaled. "We need to settle something."

Riven stepped forward slightly. "…yes."

Her gaze sharpened. "Speak."

A pause.

Then Kael asked the question directly.

"What do we call you?"

Silence.

Theo tilted his head. "Isn't it mother?"

Leon nodded. "We already say that."

Noella added seriously, "Mother is warm."

Kael shook his head. "Not that. Something else."

Riven looked at her. "…your name."

"Yes," she said simply.

Kael frowned. "Just that?"

"Yes."

Riven shook his head slightly. "…that is too distant."

She crossed her arms. "It is my name."

Kael immediately replied. "We don't like it."

"That is not relevant."

Riven added calmly, "It feels formal."

"It is formal."

"That is the issue," Kael said.

She exhaled slowly, already tired of the conversation. "Then use it."

Kael leaned forward slightly. "…tell us."

She paused.

Then spoke clearly.

"My name is Elowen Astra."

Silence.

Theo blinked. "…Elowen?"

Leon repeated slowly. "…Astra?"

Noella tilted her head. "Elowen Astra sounds like a princess."

Kael frowned slightly. "Too long."

Riven nodded. "Structured."

Kael pointed at him. "That is not a compliment."

Riven replied calmly. "It is observation."

She continued, unfazed. "Elowen is fine. Astra is fine. Together is my name."

Kael crossed his arms. "We are not calling you that."

She blinked once. "Excuse me?"

Riven added carefully, "…it feels too formal for daily use."

Theo raised his hand. "Can we shorten it?"

Leon nodded. "Like Theo, Leon…"

Noella smiled. "Noella."

Kael pointed immediately. "Don't give her ideas."

But she paused.

Then said quietly. "You can shorten it if you want."

Instant reaction.

Theo lit up. "Elo!"

Leon followed. "Wen?"

Noella clapped. "Astra!"

Kael froze. "…you allowed that too easily."

Riven added, "…Elo sounds too casual."

Kael nodded quickly. "Exactly. Too casual."

Theo frowned. "But mother said it's fine."

Leon added, "So it's fine."

Noella smiled. "Elo is cute."

Kael groaned. "…this is spiraling."

Riven, however, studied her carefully. "Then Elo it is."

Kael turned sharply. "You accepted that."

Riven replied, "She did."

Kael stared at both of them. "…I am surrounded by chaos."

Then Kael suddenly stepped forward again. "If we are using names properly—"

Riven interrupted. "…we return to the previous issue."

Kael nodded. "Yes."

Both men spoke at the same time.

"We want to call you wife."

Silence.

The air froze again.

Theo blinked. "Again?"

Leon sighed. "They didn't learn."

Noella whispered. "Bold again."

Her expression darkened slightly.

"No," she said immediately.

Kael frowned. "Why not?"

"Because I am not."

Riven added more carefully. "…it would mean belonging."

"I do not belong to anyone."

Kael hesitated. "…we didn't mean it like ownership."

"That is exactly what it means," she said.

Silence.

Theo looked confused. "So what do we call her then?"

Leon tilted his head. "Elo?"

Noella smiled. "Mother Elo Astra."

Kael sighed. "That is worse."

Riven added calmly. "It is still correct."

Kael pointed at him. "You agree too much."

Riven replied, "It reduces conflict."

She finally spoke again, her tone firm. "You are fathers."

Kael muttered. "That's it again."

"Yes."

Riven nodded once. "…understood."

Kael looked away. "Painfully strict."

Theo smiled slightly. "Father Kael."

Kael froze. "Do not start that again."

Leon tried. "Father Riven."

Riven nodded. "Acceptable."

Noella clapped. "Father Kael, Father Riven, Mother Elo!"

Kael groaned loudly. "This family is impossible."

Riven replied calmly. "It is stable."

Kael pointed at him. "You are the worst part."

Riven looked at him. "…noted."

And behind them—

She turned back toward the hut.

Unmoved.

Unshaken.

Still Elowen Astra.

Still in control.
