A man in heavy knight armor stepped onto the podium, the crowds of students noticing the one currently standing up looking down at them was the current principal and the eleventh knight venerable.
The 'knight-venerable' after making a gesture with his right arm commanding silence for everyone, and with the terrifying suffocating aura that the 'knight venerable' always seemed to Carry whenever he was, some students even find breathing difficult as they are just terrified of the man looking down at them-and so they all became silent.
Adam was also affected, clutching his head that is now in pain.'i didn't receive any proper training, I don't even know how to manipulate my aura, now all of this makes sense, I suffer because I am weak.'
The knight venerable then spoke.
"I welcome you new trainees, the path of knight-hood is long and arduous but as I myself as knight!, never forget the oath! The oath to protect the people, purge all demons and harness your strength to protect!."
The teachers also made their announcement, but they seem to be exaggerating their speech.
From the information I heard clearly, the academy values strength above all else, and after the formalities and announcements the next one is the practical duel tournament.
A duel that decided your class in the academy, it will be a random 1v1 where your names are randomly chosen, the ones to reach the top 1-10 are rated (supreme) and are given additional perks, the top 11-20 are rated (prodigies), the top 21-50 are rated (geniuses), and for the scope of 2000 new enrollees competition would be brutal.
Nobles and royalty enrolled in this top academy, and with their noble blood they are expected to dominate the tournament, I didn't give a duck about those top geniuses or whatever, all I know is that I have to give my all.
The academy also had about 50 giant arena's, so the fight would not take too long, it should be finished in this very day.
About 40 minutes later, we are guided in a giant flat form, it was that massive that 2000 students could just ran around without a problem, the platform also had a lot of magical device's, runes and a lot of cloaked mages casting spells.
The principal then shouted."the practical duel will now begin!."
A moment later a hologram appeared.'wow is this my system!, no wait a minute everyone had them, my first opponent is?.'
A mechanical voice then sounded.[match starts in (90) seconds please prepare.]
Adam was visibly alarmed, how could magic be so advance it looked like modern hologram.'its abvious I am not the only one.'
Shortly I was teleported into one of the arena's, I could see some of the professors watching the match, the majority of the spectators are senior students who enrolled years earlier.
The hologram appeared again.[good luck]
Adam stood out, of course because of his weird great helm, his shabby sword, no armor, and lastly his stature Adam stood about (196) centimeters tall, but his opponent cannot be under estimated, his opponent was a golden haired noble named 'Leon' the hologram only displayed names and common information not their nobility classes.
Leon also stood out, with his golden gorgeous looking armor and his striking appearance, unlike the shabby looking dude Infront of him.
Leon's aura was immense, suffocating nonetheless, Adam looked like a confused young man with a goofy looking helmet.
The mechanical voice sounded again.[rules are, there is no rules use everything that you've got to defeat your opponent.]

In somewhat a millisecond Leon brandishing his golden sword and immense control over aura.'this Adam seemed weak, I don't want to hurt anyone, knocking him out in an instant should be harmless.'
As Leon was rushing with momentum, he was shocked, the sword was already so close in Adams neck yet he did not react, not a single hint of retaliation or jult of motion.'why is he not reacting?, I even slowed down my speed for about a quarter.'
Leon thought that he will seriously hurt adam.'its too late... No! I'm about to kill him.'
Outside of the arena one of the professors looked in awe."one student is about to kill someone! Call the healers!."
Leon closed his eyes out of guilt, for he have sinned once again.
But something shocking happened, the sword did not reach its mark, it was intercepted by none other than Adam.
A split second before the sword struck Adam inside of the helmet was curious of what this strong looking knight could do.

Outside of the arena where Adam and Leon was dueling, a man or student mysteriously reacted on behalf of the situation.
The young man seeted somewhere far, he was alone but he seems to be having the time of his life.
The young man then spoke seemingly talking to someone.
"I can't believe that the Fifth transmigrator would be challenging the main character, after all it is wiser to avoid Leon."
