Chapter 1 - My Own!

In the wide expanse of eternal darkness, where light seemed to have no access, a translucent figure of a man floated lazily, his outline glowing light blue against the eternal darkness.

The man had long black hair flowing freely through space, unrestrained. His abyssal purplish-black eyes gazed into the distant eternal darkness. He possessed a handsome face bordering on otherworldly, almost divine beauty, with sharp cheekbones, a small nose, and skin as smooth and pale as the moon itself. A black robe patterned with white glitters like stars draped over his six-foot body.

He lay horizontally on nothing, as if reclining against space itself.

His red lips parted slightly to release a sigh of boredom.

"Sigh~"

He whispered in a small voice that was smooth and soft, yet slightly annoyed.

"How long do I have to endure this?"

"How long do I have to suffer in this god-forsaken place, living like a lonely soul, drifting along with a non-existent wind through this desolate darkness?!" He questioned, perhaps to himself or to fate itself, but alas, he received no answer.

"There is even nothing to do but look at this bluish screen!" He looked at the blue-outlined rectangular screen with a smoky purple background that displayed some text.

Of course, the text was unreadable to him. He had tried touching it, sniffing it, and in anger even punching it, but every time the result was the same: the screen remained untouchable, as if it existed only for him to admire but never to touch. Like hell!!!! It was like some woman with godly curves and seductive charm.

He was frustrated and had tried everything, but nothing seemed to be working for him.

Tired, he let everything go and began drifting with his eyes lost in the dark expanse. For him, it was not that big of a deal. He could remain still in one place, lost in dreams where he was a king gathering thousands of beauties alongside countless deadly adventures. People would look at him with weird glances, but to him they did not even matter. Pests were just pests; why remain among them like waste?

So today too, he was drifting through this vast expanse of darkness, reminiscing about his life choices—of course without regretting anything, as that would be against his ideals.

But suddenly, the screen in front of him brightened—brightened as if thousands of suns had exploded simultaneously—illuminating the dark expanse that had remained lightless for what might have been eons.

The boy quickly covered his eyes with the backs of his hands, trying to block the light, but even that failed. His vision whitened as if he had been thrown into a well of white flames that burned his eyes.

This phenomenon lasted only a few seconds and then vanished as quickly as it had come.

He came to his senses and tried to look, his fluttering eyelids refusing to open at first.

But adjustment came with time, and he finally opened his eyes. The scene before him shocked him to his core, making them widen to their limit.

The dark expanse that should have been there was nowhere to be seen. In its place stood a world full of new beginnings.

The texts that had once been indecipherable were now as understandable as his native language. Understanding their context left him shocked.

[And you are the Spirit of Dual Cultivation Chamber.]

The blue screen flickered as the texts changed one after another.

Then, with another flicker, a new interface appeared in front of him with different texts.

[There is no permanent status. It will change as required by the circumstances.]

The texts themselves did not provide much content, but he understood everything as information poured into his head like cum into a woman's pussy.

He remained disoriented for a moment, digesting the information and knowledge.

"The fuck?!" he exclaimed after coming out of his stupor.

I thought of many things after I died and came here. I thought that I had been dropped into hell and waited for punishments, but as time passed and no one came, I grew confused. I racked my brain trying to understand my situation.

A thought struck me that maybe I hadn't died and was receiving treatment in some hospital while in a coma. I don't know what happens when a person goes into a coma, but maybe that's it—like the way some people get trapped in endless darkness. But with time, I lost that hope too. I don't know why, but I never felt that was what had happened to me. Then the screen appeared.

At first I thought it was a heart-monitoring machine from the hospital, but in time I understood something was wrong. The screen was different and unrecognisable, and the whole scenario of being in a coma didn't make sense—what the fuck was a screen doing with me in my coma?

As an avid reader, I had my own thoughts, but I denied the theories of regression, reincarnation, or transmigration. Still, what was happening to me? I tried to understand it, really, but I couldn't. So after countless thoughts, I came to a simple conclusion—maybe Yamaraj had already decided my punishment—the Eternal Darkness Prison—where I was drifting. Maybe I had been convicted to this prison of loneliness, and that was why I was here.

There were many other conclusions, but after cutting them down, I settled on this one. I was bored, yes, but I could dream of scenarios where I was the main character living thousands of different kinds of lives.

Honestly, I never thought that fate had decided this kind of life for me. Looking at the system screen, a sly grin crept up to my lips—one I didn't notice. If I had, I would have called myself "The One with a Crooked Smile." Ahh! I protected myself from the embarrassment.
