Sez spent even more time sitting alone blankly after that day.
Rayton still did not come to Sez's quarters, and neither did Sez go to his. She heard unexpected news about him from time to time, like the fact that one of Duke Lygent’s servants had come to visit him. It was clear that something was going on, but Sez couldn't quite put her finger on it.
