"Is winter arriving early this year?" I murmured to myself as I strolled through the garden scattered with fallen red leaves.
I should have listened to Verdi's advice to wear a coat.
Just as the thought crossed my mind, Haven started taking off his outerwear.
"I'm fine," I refused, insisting it wasn't cold enough to steal someone else's clothing.
But Haven draped his large coat over my shoulders, saying, "I'm not fine with it."
"If I'm fine, you should be too."
"Then, I'm fine as well."
Saying that, Haven, who initially protested, changed his tune and buttoned his coat around me.
When I fidgeted, trying to take it off, he then tied the sleeves together, trapping me inside.
Despite my astonishment at the knots, Haven smiled, pleased with the situation.
I couldn't complain; the coat was warmly retaining his body heat.
"You and Eddy are both too protective."
"Too protective? That's not true."
"This isn't being overprotective?"
"Absolutely not."
