Chapter 5. A Bird Flying Beyond Death
When Raviel left the Marquisate of Senges, Haven was galloping toward that place. As soon as he occupied Fiolteban, he left the cleanup to Trida and set off immediately.
Edwin, the Commander-in-Chief, hadn't returned to Whistlow yet. And apparently, Raviel was in Senges, discussing the future after the war with the Crown Prince of Riverdun.
He wanted to be there for her. No, it was all an excuse. Raviel would handle things just fine and achieve the best outcome whether he was there or not.
With his body worn out from the battle, Haven pushed through the cold wind only because he missed her.
Two days before arriving in Senges, Haven received a letter from Raviel while riding his horse. It mentioned Pargos' rebellion, Philander's fall, and Raviel's impending arrival there.
