The drive back to my apartment was quiet. When we finally stepped inside, I dropped my bag by the door and kicked off my shoes with a sigh of relief.
Reid closed the door behind us and glanced around, already up his sleeves rolled up like he was ready to help. "You want me to start packing your stuff?"
I paused in the middle of the living room, then shook my head. "Actually… we're staying another night."
Reid raised an eyebrow but didn't look particularly surprised. "Rhys is probably already pacing holes in the floorboards waiting for you."
"I know," I said, a small smile tugging at my lips. "That's kind of the point."
He let out a soft huff of amusement and leaned against the back of the couch, watching me. "You're feeling a little evil today, huh?"
"Maybe." I crossed my arms, still smiling. "He's been texting me like every thirty minutes asking when we're leaving. I figured one more night wouldn't kill him."
