Azaska woke up early in the morning as the core awakening ceremony was going to take place today.He got up from his bed and changed his clothes.He wore a White shirt,black pants and a long black coat also he was wearing a black hat.He got out of his room and saw the servants cleaning his house.
'Sir, shall I bring you breakfast?',a servant asked.
'Yes, you may',Azaska replied.
Azaska took the stairs that took to the ground floor of the house and sat on a dining table alone.He removed his hat and placed it upon the table.Soon,two servants came and put a jug of orange juice,one cup,bacon and cheese sandwiches,eggs and toasted bread.
'Would you like anything else sir?',a servant who looked pretty old asked.
'Nah I'm good'
'Then we shall go and do our work if you allow us'
'Approved'
The servant bowed and went to do their work. Azaska drank his juice and started eating the sandwiches,after eating the sandwiches his stomach got full and he left the bread and eggs as they were.He got up and walked towards the exit of the house.The servants bowed and opened the large glass door.
'We wish you good luck sir!',the servants said.
Azaska simply nodded and walked out of his house.Outside there were 2 guards standing to protect his house as well as Azaska himself.Outside were saints travelling in their horse carriages in snageese, there were many fountains outside his home on the road.Suddenly,one stopped in front of Azaska's house.On it another saint wearing the same clothes as Azaska was sitting.
'C'mon Azaska lets go together',the saint said.
'Oh George its you',Azaska said smiling.
Saint George was a direct Descendant of Rakadeslo. His Father had also died in a fight against the Demonic forces but his mother was alive.His age was same as Azaska. He had short white hair,green eyes,snub nose,thin lips and his skin was between fair and brown.George was one of Azaska's only friends,like Azaska he was also really excited but nervous at the same time for the core awakening ceremony.
'To be honest I think you are going to get the Wisdom core',George said.
'We'll see',Azaska replied.
Soon enough they reached the Divine Hall for the ceremony.Other than these two, twenty more people were here to awaken their core. Three minutes later,another kid around the same age as these two came to greet them.
'Hey Brooke what's up',George and Azaska said.
'I'm fine,My idiot servant was late, man he did do his job but what could I've done he had made me really angry'.Brooke said in an angry voice.
Brooke was a medium-fat kid with blonde hair,round nose,heart lips and a fair skin.He was a really spoiled kid.Thinking too highly of himself.
'So you lost another servant',Azaska said.
'hmm',Brooke replied.And started to explain how he first cut his servants ears than his tongue and finally killed him as a kind of mercy.George did not like what Brooke did because he did not like such things and was even polite with his servants.This was one of the reasons Azaska admired George
After some time,a saint came in the hall,wearing the same clothes as everyone but on the right side of his chest a badge that looked like a knight was attached,seeing him people got quiet and looked towards him.After he confirmed that the attention is on him he started to speak.
'My greetings to you all.Ladies and Gentlemen,my name is Saint.Marcus Flame.I am a Holy Knight and I am happy to see that like other years this year is also filled with many talents.Today as you all know is the Core Awakening Ceremony.As most of you must already know that there are 6 kinds of core,with every core having its own abilities and potential.To awaken the Core you will wear a necklace that will forcefully awaken your core.Everybody you shall get in a line so we can start the awakening ceremony.'
Azaska stood at the 13th number with Brooke ahead of him and George behind him.The first one to wear the necklace was a girl who looked rather cute.The necklace was made from dark gold and a heavy pendant was hanging from it.The girl wore it,and after some seconds the necklace started to vibrate.And the girl started to scream on the top of her lungs.As one could see the pain it caused was really high.The girls mother who was seeing this felt pity.But the pain was for a low time, and the pain vanished.Saint Marcus took the necklace from the girl and opened the pendent and suddenly wind started to flow out it.
'Congratulations,You have the wind core, the same one as me',Saint Marcus said laughing.
'Its an honor sir',the girl said,sure enough the girl seemed polite.
'Now you shall take the academy form and submit it 3 days from now'
The girl hearing this, took the academy form.The academy was important because the academy was the place where they would reach rank 2 and learn basic techniques.After the girl some other people wore the necklace

Now, it was time for the spoiled kid Brooke.He wore the necklace and screamed the shit out of himself and barked that it was violence.Saint Marcus opened the pendent and saw the pendent was leaking liquid. Azaska got confused but finally remembered that it was the water core a mutation of ice core resulting from extreme pampering and selfishness.
Finally it was Azaska's turn, the pain he got was the same as his mom's beating before his rebirth so it didn't feel much to him so he did not even make a face or scream.Seeing this Saint Marcus got surprised along with everyone and smiled.He opened the pendent and saw the pendent frozen.
'Congratulations,You have the Ice core',said Saint Marcus.
'Not bad',Azaska thought smiling, he grabbed the academy form and waited for George's core awakening.George wore the necklace and held the scream in his throat.Saint Marcus smiled again and opened the pendant seeing paper inside he announced
'Congratulations, you have the Wisdom Core'
'Congratulations boy',Azaska said to George as he came to Azaska.
'Yeah and congratulations to you too',George replied,smiling.
'Well I did kind of like the wisdom Core you see I am really interested in the future foresight,potions and machinery, man who would've thought A fool like me would get the wisdom core',George continued.
'Well you are wise lets not deny a fact, and for a fool you are one',Azaska replied with a laugh.
'hehehe'
George and Azaska walked out of the divine hall seeing it was already evening. Azaska stretched himself and sat inside the carriage along with George.After 5 minutes or so,they reached Azaska's house.
'I shall be going than,Goodbye',said Azaska.
'Bye',replied George smiling.
'The Ice core...hmm--seems interesting,thank God I didn't get the wisdom core or otherwise I would have to study math and chemistry even in this era but man the future sight surely is super powerful,but nothing is perfect it can be cancelled out through some ways,sigh, what a day.The ice core does grant me resistance to many things interesting It sure is',Azaska thought as he entered his house.
After entering his house he saw his servants arranging food on the dining table.Suddenly the middle aged female servant along with other servants came to Azaska,bowed and said
'Will our Lord please enlighten us on which core he has?,she asked politely.
'I have the Ice core,Thank you for asking by the way',Azaska said he felt good that some people were like his mother asking and caring for him.It was not that his servants were only good to him at his face,they genuinely admired Azaska,and cared for him.
Hearing this,the servants smiled and some even had tears.They bowed and walked towards the kitchen again. Azaska ate the roasted chicken,white rice,and grilled sandwiches.After finishing eating,he stood up and went to his bedroom.He opened the academy form to look what had written inside it.He started to fill it and finally looked on it again to see how it looked like now.
