Chapter 130 - Chapter 129: The Plaga Virus

The lowest level of the laboratory was a massive underground space constructed of metal—cold, silent, with only the rhythmic sound of crashing waves and heavy breathing echoing throughout.

Rather than a laboratory, this place was more like a steel cage built to imprison a mythical behemoth.

The space was over eighty meters high, with a staggering length and width of several hundred meters; the surrounding walls and ceiling were all cast from thick, silver-white alloy.

At the center of the cage was a Mimicry of an Artificial Sea.

Within the Artificial Sea, a massive monster was imprisoned.

A colossal creature over seventy meters long, its lower body submerged in the seawater.

It had no hind limbs; its entire lower body exhibited a streamlined structure similar to a Mosasaurus, covered in thick, dark blue Exoskeleton.

Two disproportionately thick forelimbs had clearly visible muscular contours beneath their Exoskeleton covering.

At their ends were five long, curved bone claws, currently dug deep into the sand, plowing shocking furrows.

Its head was the ultimate magnification and Mutation of the Xenomorph Queen's characteristics.

A long, narrow, and hideous crest extended backward, forming a bone-like backrest structure with sharp edges that glinted with a cold light.

Along the spine, extending all the way to the tail, was not a smooth curve but a row of protruding sharp bone plates; in the center of the back, they formed an exceptionally large dorsal ridge, but this ridge resembled a massive bone blade.

Its tail was slender and powerful, firmly secured by a massive locking ring also cast from corrosion-resistant alloy, allowing it to swing only within a small range.

The end of the tail was not a spike, but a flat, wide, giant bone blade resembling a guillotine, granting it terrifying propulsion and cutting ability in the water.

This was the perfect creation that the Man with Gold-Rimmed Glasses had poured his heart and soul into, crossing countless ethical and biological boundaries to finally complete.

Created with a Mosasaurus as the host—the Alien Queen!

It was not just a biological weapon, but the core of a Xenomorph hive, theoretically capable of independently gestating and controlling a terrifying army composed of various mutant Xenomorphs.

Controlling it was equivalent to controlling a legion of destruction.

At this moment, the Empress within the Artificial Sea was in a frenzy.

Its pupil-less eye sockets, filled only with deep darkness, were locked onto the tiny human standing behind the observation window on the high platform by the pool, low growls emanating from deep within its throat!

With every struggle, the hundreds of tons of specially-made chains on its body would clank; the chains were embedded deep into the joints of its Exoskeleton, and the connections to the alloy floor and walls groaned with the sound of metal clashing.

The pool water churned continuously under the agitation of its violent movements.

However, no matter how it struggled, the shackles forged from humanity's most cutting-edge materials remained as steady as a mountain.

Pure physical strength was simply unable to break through the cage of chains.

On the high platform, the Man with Gold-Rimmed Glasses remained expressionless, watching the rampaging behemoth below through the reinforced glass window.

There was no fear in his eyes, only endless excitement.

He reached out and pressed a prominent red button on the console.

"Ssssh—!"

Several rows of hidden nozzles on the ceiling opened simultaneously, and grayish-white anesthetic gas poured down like a waterfall, quickly enveloping the entire area.

The Alien Queen shook its head violently, trying to disperse the smoke, but the gas was pervasive.

Its struggles became visibly sluggish and weak, and the deafening roars gradually turned into low whimpers before finally falling silent.

Its massive body slowly went limp, mostly sinking into the water, with only its hideous head and part of its back still exposed above the surface, rising and falling slightly with its faint breathing.

After confirming the anesthesia had taken full effect, the Man with Gold-Rimmed Glasses initiated the next step of the procedure.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz—"

The low sound of machinery operating rang out.

On the cage's ceiling, the luminous panel simulating a natural sky began to retract and slide open to both sides, revealing the sophisticated mechanical structure within.

Several large mechanical arms, like doctors before an operating table, descended precisely and hovered above the Alien Queen's head.

The laser emitter at the end of one mechanical arm first lit up with a piercing red dot; after calibrating its position, a crimson laser suddenly appeared and began cutting along the Alien Queen's head!

"Zzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt..."

A circular opening about two meters in diameter was forcibly opened at the upper back of its head!

Highly corrosive dark green blood surged from the edges of the cut like a viscous waterfall, flowing down the Alien Queen's head and neck and falling into the seawater below.

"Sssss—!!!!"

The seawater boiled instantly! Large plumes of white steam rose into the air, only to be quickly drawn away by the powerful exhaust system above.

The pool water became turbid at a visible rate, turning an eerie yellowish-green.

The laser cutter retracted.

Immediately after, another mechanical arm extended.

At its end, it held a hideous insect.

It was about five meters long and dark red all over, with no obvious eyes, nose, or mouth—only a gruesome mouthpart at the front composed of four fleshy petals lined with sharp teeth.

And this was the Queen Plaga, a specially enhanced version with the T-virus.

This was the Man with Gold-Rimmed Glasses' true trump card, a terrifying creature that could theoretically parasitize, control, or even replace the host's central nervous system.

Its prototype originated from incomplete data on what was called the Plaga Parasite, provided by a mysterious visitor fifteen years ago.

After countless failures and improvements, it was integrated with the T-virus's incredible adaptability and variability, specifically bred to its adult form, and finally given a super anti-corrosion treatment on its body surface.

All of this was to break through the Alien Queen's almost impenetrable defense: its acidic blood and highly exclusive biological nervous system.

The mechanical arm precisely docked the Plaga Parasite at the cut in the Empress's head.

Almost the instant it touched the Alien Queen, the Queen Plaga's dark red body writhed violently, its petal-like mouthparts opening and closing frantically as if it had caught the scent of the most exquisite delicacy in the world.

It required no guidance or stimulation.

"Puchi!"

With a wet, squelching sound, the Queen Plaga plunged headfirst into the Alien Queen's forcibly opened head.

The Man with Gold-Rimmed Glasses stared intently at the drastic changes in the Empress's life signs and brainwave activity on the monitor, his breathing quickening slightly as his fingers unconsciously tapped the console.

This time, with the T-virus integration and enhancement, the targeted anti-corrosion treatment, and the perfect mature Queen form... "Take root, fuse, and then, serve me!"
