Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Nightmare

"Aaaah....

Robin's body jerked forward as he ran blindly through a dark alley.

Heavy footsteps thundered behind him.

something was chasing him.

something not human.

"what is the thing?!"

He turned sharply, nearly slipping as he forced himself deeper into the narrow path.

his lungs burned.

"lha.... lha..."

He couldn't breathe.

The ciry around him.

was destroyed.

Skyscrapers reduced to broken skeletons.

Smoke filled the air.

The ground was cracked, as if something massive had torn the world apart.

"Where am i ?"

His voice echoed into the emptiness.

No answer.

Then

A shadow moved.

Too fast.

Robin's eyes widened.

"No!"

The creature lunged.

kring... kring...

Robin jolted awake.

His eyes snapped open.

Silence.

Darkness.

"... What...?"

His chest rose and fell rapidly.

His heart was racing.

"... Just a dream...?"

But it felt real.

Too real.

Kring... Kring...

The phone kept ringing.

Robin grabbed it, still breathing heavily.

"halo... "

"Robin."

it was his boss.

"we've got a problem."

Robin rubbed his face.

"What kind of problem?"

"The energy system is unstable," his boss said.

"something's wrong with the core. We need you here. Now."

Robin froze for a second.

" I'm on my way."

He hung up.

sat there in silence.

The dream still lingered in his mind.

The creature.

The ruined city.

"What wat that?"

He shook his head and stood up.

Work was waiting.

And he had no idea.

that what he saw...

was not just a dream.

Robin arrived at the facility just as the morning sun began to rise over the dense forests of kalimantan.

Hidden deep within the jungle.

stood one of the most important project in the world.

The Eclipse Energy Project.

By the year 2060, indonesia had long exhausted its coal reserves.

At the same time, the rise of massive AI industries demanded something far greater.

Endless power and clean water.

Nations came together.

Pooling resources.

Technology.

Knowledge.

To build a new source of energy.

Something powerful enough to sustain the future.

Robin stepped out of his vehicle.

The air felt heavier than usual.

Before he could take another step.

A humanoid robot approached him.

"good morning. mr.robin"

"Ben, " robin replied, still adjusting his jacket.

"what's the situation? "

Ben's eyes flickered faintly.

"The central AI core is experiencing isntability," it said.

"it is no longer responding to standard command inputs."

Robin frowned.

"what do you mend not responding?"

"the energy core is accelerating beyond regulate parameters," continued.

"The rotational field is increasing."

A brief pause.

"if this continues, system overheating is inevitable."

Robin clicked his tongue.

"DAmn it... "

The Eclipse system was never meant to run at uncontrolled speeds.

At its heart.

was a rotating energy core.

A massive field of compressed plasma and gravitational force, spinning at exreme velocity to generate power.

if the balance was lost.

Even for a moment.

The consequences..

would be catastrophic.

"Why didn't the main AI shut it down?" Robin Asked.

Ben paused.

"it... did not execute the command."

silence.

robin narrowed his eyes.

"that's impossible."

"The system is no longer fully under control," Ben said.

A cold feeling crept up Robin spine.

"Take me there," he said.

Without another word, Ben turned.

Robin followed.

Deep inside the facility, something was already going wrong and no one realized how close they were to disaster.
