Chapter 125
Euphoria and her group were led through the twisting halls of the underwater city. Soon, she saw a bright white building—the same glowing landmark she had spotted while descending.
Up close, she saw the building didn't actually glow. Its smooth, high-quality material just perfectly reflected the light from the surrounding ocean, making it look like it was shining on its own.
As soon as they crossed the threshold into the palace, the air bubbles around them vanished. They didn't need them anymore. The guards led them into a large room with no furniture, only a huge stone platform in the center meant for resting.
"You will stay here for the night. The Evil King will see you when he has time," the guard said flatly. He turned and left, and the heavy doors sealed shut behind him.
Euphoria tried to call out to him, but the guard moved so fast that he was already gone.
