"That's a serpent down there."
Valentina just hummed in acknowledgement as she slowly walked around the area, no longer confined to my arms now that we were actually somewhere that seemed... safe, though I wasn't about to let my guard down.
It was just really hard to ignore the gigantic serpent that was so far below us in total darkness, the only reason we were able to see it being the water that glimmered with natural Qi splashing against it as it too dropped down deep into that abyss.
"There's a big serpent down there. There's also a big waterfall right above. And I cannot see a single way out from here."
Again she just hummed, continuing to walk around as she looked at everything that she could, though as I took a breath to speak a third time she glanced back at me and just shook her head, silencing me before I could speak.
