It only got worse the longer I stood there, this beast that was apparently created from me doing its best to attempt to separate itself from me as violently as it possibly could, clawing at the back of my eyes and howling into my skull the entire time.
Valerie's presence acted like grease being poured onto an open flame, and even though I continued to try and shift away from the silver eyed woman she just kept moving to be right in front of me, her expression as still as ever.
She just watched me closely from a few feet away, her hands clasped behind her back while her eyes remained glued to me even as I constantly spun on my heel, until eventually I snarled at her and earned myself a sharp poke to the brow.

That was all she said as she locked me in place, a sliver of prickly and warm Qi sliding into my body from the spot she poked, overwhelming both my own Qi and that which this wolf was eagerly utilizing in an attempt to break free.
