Chapter 6 - Capturing Black Cat Alive

The bearded man's gun was now aimed straight ahead.

Seeing the dark muzzle pointed in his direction, Dr. Ratha panicked and hurriedly said, "Wait! I'll talk! I wanted to use you to threaten Peter, make him tell the truth!"

"The truth?"

Sora Yukihara's lips curled into a cold, mocking smile.

Was that really the attitude of someone seeking the truth?

He clearly saw both Peter and Sora Yukihara as tools to summon and discard at will.

"Enough. You don't need to answer that anymore," Sora Yukihara said. "Tell me this—besides you and Dr. Connors, who else knows about tonight?"

Ratha answered honestly, "Mr. Norman… he also knows."

"That old man too, huh?"

Sora Yukihara's eyes filled with disdain.

A dying old man—what could he possibly overturn?

"Well then… it's time for judgment."

Sora Yukihara let out a chilling smile.

Ratha sensed something was wrong and shouted, "What are you going to do?!"

"Ah—!"

"Boss, I can't control myself!"

"No! I can't do this!"

The bearded man slowly took out a suppressor and screwed it onto the gun, then shoved the muzzle into Ratha's mouth.

"Goodbye."

"No… actually, farewell forever."

Sora Yukihara turned around.

Pfft.

Blood and fragments burst from the back of Ratha's head as he died instantly.

"Your turn."

Sora Yukihara moved his fingers slightly, and the bearded man raised the gun to his own mouth.

With a muffled sound, he pulled the trigger.

By then, Sora Yukihara had already flown out of the window.

From beginning to end, he never touched the ground, nor did he come into contact with the two bodies—leaving behind no trace whatsoever.

"Should I go share this good news with Peter?"

On the way home, Sora Yukihara happened to pass by Peter's house.

His own place was nearby—he had deliberately rented it close for convenience.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to just walk over before.

"Peter should be asleep by now, right?"

Looking at the quiet night, Sora Yukihara felt a faint chill and said with a wicked grin, "Dragging someone out of bed to share good news… that's what true friendship looks like, isn't it?"

Suddenly, a shadow leapt out from Peter's house.

The figure wore a black bodysuit, perfectly outlining a curvy and striking figure.

"Black Cat?"

There was no way Sora Yukihara wouldn't recognize her.

Black Cat—one of the most alluring women in the Marvel world.

Agile movements, a stunning physique, and incredible skill—that was her signature.

"Interesting."

When Sora Yukihara noticed the briefcase in her hand, everything clicked instantly.

"Let's have some fun."

With a mischievous smile, Sora Yukihara lunged forward.

"Who's there?!"

Black Cat sensed the disturbance.

A figure rushed toward her, forcing her to leap onto a nearby utility pole in a single bound.

"Not bad. Pretty sharp."

Sora Yukihara stepped out from the shadows, praising her.

When Black Cat saw that Sora Yukihara was flying—without any equipment—her expression changed drastically. Instinctively, she dashed toward a more concealed residential area.

Whoosh!

A sharp sound cut through the air, forcing her to halt.

A few strands of her blonde hair were sliced off.

"Who are you? A mutant?"

"Black Cat, don't you think you're asking too many questions?"

Sora Yukihara spread his fingers slightly as he spoke. "A legendary thief breaking into an ordinary home just to steal an old briefcase… if word gets out, your reputation might not survive."

"So what?"

Black Cat replied disdainfully, "In this world, only money matters. Who cares what men like you think?"

"Fair enough."

Sora Yukihara said lazily, "Put down the briefcase and tell me who hired you. Considering how beautiful you are, I won't make things difficult—just stay as my bed servant."

"Dream on!"

Black Cat turned and ran.

Her movements were incredibly fluid—a seamless 180-degree turn, completed in an instant as she leapt away.

She changed direction, heading toward a nearby park.

But Sora Yukihara had already anticipated it.

He flicked his fingers.

Whoosh!

An almost invisible web of threads descended, trapping her instantly.

Bang!

Black Cat hit the ground hard.

Still unwilling to give up, she struggled fiercely.

Sora Yukihara slowly descended in front of her, casually picking up the briefcase.

"Stop struggling," he said calmly. "Unless you have extraordinary strength, the more you resist, the tighter my thread net becomes."

Black Cat wasn't enhanced by mutations. Her abilities came purely from extreme training.

But no matter how strong she was, she was still human.

There was no breaking free.

"Bastard! Let me go!"

"What kind of ability is this?! It hurts!"

Ignoring Sora Yukihara's warning, she continued to struggle and shout.

The more she struggled, the tighter the threads constricted—quickly tightening around her neck.

"Did something happen over there?"

"Yeah, I heard a woman's voice. Should we check?"

"No, better call the police. Things aren't safe these days."

Voices drifted over from the distance.

"Looks like I can't handle this here."

Sora Yukihara sighed, making a pulling motion as he rose into the air.

Black Cat was dragged up along with him.

The String-String Fruit abilities were somewhat similar to Spider-Man's—many movements relied on threads.

Because of that, Sora Yukihara didn't limit himself to Doflamingo's techniques. He had also adapted ideas inspired by Spider-Man—this thread net being his version of a web.

Thud.

Sora Yukihara dragged Black Cat back to his home.

She was roughly thrown onto the ground, wincing in pain.

But the thread net vanished.

Since it was a Devil Fruit ability fully under Sora Yukihara's control, he could summon or dismiss it at will—far more flexible than Spider-Man's webs.

Black Cat stretched her limbs slightly and asked, "Why did you bring me here?"
