Chapter 33 - CHAPTER 33:The darkness beyond aetherion(the special chapter)

As Rudhran and the others journeyed toward the great celestial realm, silence ruled the path for a long time. The skies above shimmered with silver light while the endless winds carried an uneasy feeling through the air.

After walking for hours, Rudhran finally broke the silence.

"I need to know everything about the Shadows," he said in a cold voice. "Their powers… the ones who stand beneath the king… their armies… I want to know all of it."

Parthibhan glanced at him for a moment before speaking.

"There is only one person in all of Aetherion who can answer those questions completely."

Without another word, the group suddenly changed their direction.

Rudhran frowned slightly. "Where are we going?"

"You will understand soon," Parthibhan replied.

The path they followed grew darker with every step. The warmth of the celestial roads disappeared, replaced by a chilling silence. Mountains of black stone surrounded them, and eventually they arrived before a massive cave covered in endless darkness.

The cave itself seemed alive.

A terrifying aura seeped out from within, enough to make even powerful warriors hesitate.

Inside the depths of that cave, a lone figure sat calmly.

An ancient sage.

Not just any sage—but a legendary being who had lived during the age when the entire world of Aetherion was consumed by war. He was the only person known to understand both Light and Darkness completely.

The Great Sage of Duality.

As the group stepped closer, the old man slowly opened his eyes. His gaze alone carried the weight of countless centuries.

Parthibhan bowed respectfully.

"We seek knowledge about the Shadow Kings."

For a few moments, the sage remained silent. Then his eyes turned toward Rudhran.

"So… the chosen one seeks the truth."

Aetherion stepped forward and spoke.

"Only after hearing your words are we willing to reveal everything to Rudhran."

The old sage nodded slowly.

"Very well," he said. "Then listen carefully… for the power of the Shadows is not something the world should know lightly."

The darkness inside the cave trembled as he began to speak.
