CHAPTER 2 ✨
Diagon Alley and Birthday Party 🎉✨

Jay-Jay's POV:
After having breakfast, we went to Diagon Alley to celebrate because why not, and also because we wanted our birthday to be magical.
We went their just like the witch, who came to our house two years ago with Percy's letter, had shown us.
She had taught our family many things about wizarding world like how to change muggle money into wizarding money, which shops are the best, what things are necessary in the school and etc. She was very kind and lovely, I want to be in her house.
When we reached there we straight away went to the ice-cream shop and had ice-creams along with our parents.
"Ohh this soo good", I moaned after taking the first bite.
"This is heaven compared to the ice creams we eat at home.", Jani added.
"True kids this ice creams are very tasty." Mama agreed.
Papa just chuckled at our reactions.
Then we started browsing shops for all the things we will need in hogwarts. A list came with the letter for it.
We decided, as we have to buy many items in first year, we will buy most of the things today and when kuyas came back we can purchase other things like pets and wands with them. Because its not save to keep them at home for a long time.
"See over there its Madam Malkins, we can get your robes first", Mama pointed.
"Over there Flourish and Botts, for our books", Jani pointed over there in excitment.
"Boring", I said nonchalantly. Then I pointed to a shop, "first we will go to that sweet shop for candies, I ran out of the ones percy sent last time", I added with determination.
"Okay guys, calm down. First we will go to gringotts to exchange our money with the ones we can use here" Papa said calmly.
Jani and I groaned but followed him anyways, because we can't get anything without money.
We were done by evening as the sun started to go down causing a glow of red light through out. Our home was 5 hours drive from London through the highway.
We reached home and it was night by then, the whole sky was now dark with stars twinkling.
We took out all the items we bought, robes, books, parchment, quill and ink, cauldrons, crystal phials, brass scales and a potion making kit. We also bought a trunk to keep all this things in it.
We started arranging our things inside it. And just like that, we enjoyed our birthday with magic and love.

Next day, Evening:
Today is sunday and we have planned a simple picnic with food and games at the park for all our muggle friends as a birhtday party. We woke up early, to help mama and papa with the preparation.
Now everything is ready. There are balloon decorated trees with some fairy lights. Two tables one for cake and games and other for gifts.
People have started arriving making noise and chaos. Then suddenly two arms came crashing into me and Jani. I saw feiry red hairs and immediately understood who it was.
I wrapped my arms around her and Jani. Now we three were hugging each other tightly and laughing.
It was lily. Our childhood friend, our platonic soulmate, our sister from another mother, our life. She is our best friend.
But now, we have to tell her that we are leaving her and going to a boarding school. Honestly, it was one of the disadvantage of having to go to Hogwarts.
"Oh my god guys, Happy Belated Birthday. Where did you go yesterday I came to your house yesterday with a cake I baked, but saw that it was locked."
Lily wished us and asked.
"Actually lils, we went to london for shopping with mom and dad." Jani replied
"And Thank you for the birthday wish, but can I still have the cake," I asked pleadingly.
"Ofcourse. Its for you and I know you will murder me if I won't give it to you", Lily said jokingly.
Then the party started and we enjoyed a lot. We played many games, ate a lot of food and cut the cake and feed it to everyone.
After sometime, parents started coming to take their kids back home. So, everyone went back to their homes.
Only few people were left including lils. We called her to a corner where no one was present.
"Umm.. lily we want to tell you something...", I started.
"ok go on"
"Umm we will not be.. umm.." I looked over Jani.
She understood and took over the task, because this kind of things were not my thing. So, she finished it for me
"We won't be continuing our school here from next year. We are going to a boarding school with our brothers."
Lily looked shocked at first and then her expression changed,
"Actually about that, I will also be not continuing my school from here, umm I am also going to a boarding school, far from here."
Now it was our time to be shocked.
"Since when and why didn't you tell us before."
I asked.
"Well... I got to know on my birthday, that I got accepted in a prestigious school and I didn't tell you guys because I just didn't wanted to make you guys sad."
I tried to say something but she cut me off.
"oi let me complete. I know you guys get sad when your brothers went to boarding schools and I didn't want to be the reason you guys are sad. That is by telling you that I'll be gone too from next semester."
"Oh yeah you are right but that doesn't mean you can hide something this big from us that, too for so long...."
Jani sensed my tone and interrupted me
"Oii stop it, she already told us the truth and anyways we knew we will be following Aries and Percy to that school but never told her."
"You are right, I guess" I mumbled.
"I know that I am right. By the way lils congratulations on getting accepted there. And hope to see you on holidays."
"Ofc we will meet at holidays. I'm just going to school not a war from where I won't return." Lily said excitedly.
"I guess now we should go home, its getting dark."
"Yeah we should get going."
Then we hugged each other and went to our way.
"Bye Lils", Jani and I shouted.
"Bye Birthday girls," Lily shouted back.
And we went to our way.

Right now lily doesn't know about them being witches and wizards and they don't know that the prestigious school lily is going to go is Hogwarts.
