Chapter 2 - Episode 2: The Name I Tried to Forget

Episode 2: The Name I Tried to Forget

"I told myself I moved on…

I just never proved it."

---

Lisica stands still.

Phone in her hand.

Screen glowing.

One message.

---

"I saw you today."

---

Her fingers tighten.

She doesn't reply.

She can't.

---

"After everything…

that's all he has to say?"

---

Her chest feels heavy.

Not new.

Just… familiar.

---

Flash.

His voice.

Low. Calm.

Too close.

---

"You won't leave again… right?"

---

She closes her eyes.

Fast.

Like that memory burns.

---

"Don't."

"Don't go back there."

---

But her heart doesn't listen.

It never did.

---

She laughs softly.

Empty.

---

"I hate that it's still you."

---

Outside, rain falls.

Same night.

Same silence.

---

She steps out.

Didn't plan to.

Didn't think.

Just… moved.

---

And then—

She sees him.

---

Across the street.

Standing there like nothing changed.

Like he didn't break her.

Like he didn't disappear.

---

Her breath stops.

---

"No…"

---

He looks the same.

Maybe worse.

Colder.

Sharper.

More… him.

---

And that's the problem.

---

"Why do you still feel like home…?"

---

Her feet don't move.

But her eyes don't leave him.

---

For a second—

Just one—

She forgets everything.

---

Then it hits.

All of it.

---

The silence.

The waiting.

The nights she stayed up for nothing.

---

Her jaw tightens.

---

"You don't get to come back like this."

---

His voice reaches her.

Low.

Careful.

---

"…Lisica."

---

Her name.

From him.

After all this time.

---

Something inside her breaks—

Not loudly.

Not violently.

Just… quietly.

---

She takes one step back.

---

"Don't."

---

Her voice is soft.

But it shakes.

---

"Don't say my name like you didn't lose the right to it."

---

Silence again.

But this time—

it hurts more.

---

His eyes don't move.

Like he's already decided something.

---

And that scares her.

---

Because she knows that look.

---

"He's not here by accident."

---

Her grip tightens on her phone.

---

"Then why now…?"

---

No answer.

Just him.

Standing there.

Like a mistake she never fixed.

---

End.
