Chapter 10 - Bulma Confesses Her Feelings, First Meeting with Young Goku!

"A 500x gravity chamber isn't that useful for me right now, but this Hyperbolic Time Chamber with 10x time flow is seriously amazing."

Zeru glanced at his latest rewards, a faint smile appearing on his face. That wasn't even counting the Saiyan bloodline optimization serum and the purification ability.

This round of rewards was insanely generous.

After staying on Namek for a while, Zeru set off once again, traveling across the universe.

Time passed steadily. On September 1st, Age 749.

At that moment, inside Zeru's home in West City.

"Hm?!"

Having just returned to Earth from a planet somewhere in Universe 7, Zeru suddenly raised an eyebrow.

Within his perception, Bulma's aura wasn't in West City.

"Where did that girl run off to…?"

Zeru slowly closed his eyes and began searching for Bulma's location.

Within seconds, he locked onto her position.

Whoosh!

His figure flickered and vanished from his home.

The next moment, a rush of wind sounded as Zeru appeared inside a car.

"Ah!"

A scream instantly rang out inside.

"Bulma, it's me!"

Zeru sat in the passenger seat and waved at Bulma, who was in the driver's seat.

"Zeru?! Ah! Where have you been all these years? Why didn't you come back? Do you know how much I missed you?!"

Screech!

Bulma slammed the brakes, unfastened her seatbelt, and threw herself straight into Zeru's arms.

"Haha, my Bulma has grown up."

Zeru gently rubbed her head and smiled. "Don't worry. This time, I won't be gone for so long again. Even if I leave Earth, I'll take you with me."

For now, he had no need to leave Earth. The Dragon Ball storyline had officially begun, and after pushing himself nonstop since transmigrating, it was finally time to relax a bit.

Thinking about it, he had spent all his time training without rest.

Now, with a base power level of 120 million, he could afford to slow down, enjoy life, and spend time with Bulma.

Moreover…

Zeru glanced down slightly, the smile on his lips widening. Judging from Bulma's reaction after years apart, their relationship hadn't grown distant.

If anything, she seemed like a wife welcoming back her long-awaited husband.

"Hm?! What's that?"

At that moment, while Zeru and Bulma were in the car, a child carrying a large fish on his back walked over. He jumped onto the hood and pressed his face against the window, peering inside.

"Ah!"

Bulma screamed again upon noticing him.

"It's fine."

Zeru looked at the boy and smiled. This kid was none other than Kakarot—young Goku.

"Let's get out."

Zeru spoke, and the two stepped out of the car.

"Hey! Who are you?"

Standing on the hood, Goku looked at them cautiously.

"Hello, Kakarot. I'm Zeru."

Zeru greeted him directly.

"Kakarot?"

Goku looked around behind himself, then left and right, before pointing at himself in confusion. "Are you talking to me?"

"Yes."

Zeru nodded, his tail swaying from around his waist.

"Wow! You have a tail too!"

Goku's eyes lit up. He jumped down from the car, casually tossing the fish aside, and began circling Zeru excitedly.

After a moment, he said, "But I'm not Kakarot. My name is Goku—Son Goku!"

"Haha, it's the same! Kakarot is also your name!"

Zeru laughed.

Meeting Goku for the first time like this felt strangely surreal.

As a Dragon Ball fan, he had never imagined that one day he would stand face to face with his favorite character.

And…

Glancing at Bulma beside him, Zeru realized he hadn't expected to be this close to her either.

And clearly… she liked him.

"Well, call me whatever you want!"

Goku didn't seem interested in arguing about names. After glancing at Bulma, he frowned slightly. "If he's with you, why doesn't she have a tail?"

"Bulma is a normal Earth human. Of course she doesn't have a tail."

Zeru explained.

"Ohh…"

Goku nodded, half-understanding. Then he stepped closer to Bulma, his eyes widening in surprise. "Why does she look different from us?"

"Haha! Bulma is a girl, and we're boys. Of course there are differences!"

Zeru explained again. He knew Goku had grown up in the mountains, surrounded by animals, with little exposure to other humans.

Hearing this, Goku scratched his head. He didn't really understand, but that didn't stop his enthusiasm.

Grinning, he pointed at the fish on the ground. "Zeru… I'll treat you to some fish!"

"Sure."

Night fell, and stars filled the sky.

The three sat in the courtyard, chatting.

"Zeru, I can feel how strong you are. Want to fight me?"

Mid-conversation, Goku suddenly jumped up from his seat, eyes shining with excitement as he issued a challenge.

"Umm…"

Seeing Goku's burning battle spirit, Zeru didn't know how to respond for a moment.

Honestly, with his current strength, fighting Goku would be nothing but bullying.

"You're still too weak. When you get stronger, I'll fight you."

After some thought, Zeru declined.

He knew Goku wouldn't lose confidence even if crushed, but a completely one-sided fight held no interest for him.

"Hey! Don't call me weak!"

Goku raised his leg, ready to attack. But at that moment, Zeru released a tiny fraction of his aura.

Instantly, Goku froze.

"Well? Do you still think you can fight me?"

Zeru smiled.

Goku lowered his leg and sat back down, his fighting spirit undiminished.

"Hmph! One day, I'll definitely fight that guy Zeru!"

Goku snorted inwardly. Facing someone strong only fueled his desire to grow stronger. He would never back down.
