Chapter 186 - Volume 1: Chapter 185: The Girls' Seawall Diary

There were still ten minutes until the agreed time.

Kuroneko arrived late, riding her bicycle.

Because it was a day off, Kuroneko once again changed into her dark-style gothic loli outfit, looking completely imbued with chunibyo aura.

"Everyone's here, then let's head out."

Sora called out to Sagiri, then pushed his bicycle out the door, officially heading towards the beach.

The procession was led by Sora, with Angel-sama bringing up the rear. The remaining three girls walked in the middle.

The journey was silent.

When riding bicycles, you can neither ride side-by-side nor chat; you can only ride with your head down, so naturally, nothing happened.

The only thing worth mentioning was that Elf lacked stamina. She rode in fits and starts, constantly complaining that her legs were sore and uncomfortable, resting two or three times along the way.

At 10:00 AM, the boundless, azure ocean finally appeared before everyone.

The refreshing, slightly cool sea breeze blew against their faces. Elf, who had been panting heavily, instantly became happy. She raised her hands above her head and cheered joyfully:

"Ocean, here we come!"

Anna's eyes were sparkling, her smile bright and beautiful:

"It feels like it's been a long time since I came to play at the beach."

Even the gloomy Kuroneko had the corners of her lips slightly turned up:

"An occasional trip out isn't bad either; it can speed up the recovery rate of magic power."

"Shall we all take a group photo?"

Angel-sama's voice was gentle as she took out her phone, calling everyone to take a picture together.

"Wait a minute..."

Anna suddenly felt a bit dazed:

"When we went out to play before, I was always the one calling everyone to take a picture together... Did Mahiru steal my line?"

"Anna, don't space out." Yamada Elf's voice was crisp. She stood on Sora's left side. "Hurry up and come over for the picture."

Sora was the tallest, so he naturally stood right in the middle.

On his left were Elf and Mahiru, and on his right were Anna and Kuroneko—perfectly neat and symmetrical.

Click.

The photo was captured.

After taking the group photo, the group continued forward, arriving at a kiosk by the beach.

"Sora, I'm so thirsty, I want a drink."

Elf tilted up her small face and acted spoiled.

It was already late May, and the weather was gradually getting hotter. Having ridden all the way to the beach, everyone was indeed a bit parched.

"Park the bikes first. There's a vending machine just up ahead, get whatever you want to drink."

Sora led the girls to park their bikes in the designated spot, and then they all went to buy drinks.

After finishing their drinks, the group entered the kiosk, rented fishing rods and hooks, and then walked together onto the seawall.

Arriving on the seawall, with Angel-sama by his side, the task of instructing the beginners could be left entirely to Mahiru.

Sora sat down on a small plastic stool, cast out his fishing line, and then took out his phone to video call Sagiri.

"Onii-chan, good morning~"

Sagiri sat behind her computer, wearing a loose, white button-down shirt. She looked as if she had just woken up, with faint red sleep marks still on her small face.

"Sagiri, good morning."

"The ocean is super beautiful, it's such a pity Sagiri didn't come."

"Sagiri, when we catch some fish, we'll eat sashimi together when we get back tonight."

"..."

The girls all greeted Sagiri one after another.

Sora showed Sagiri the ocean for a while, and then Sagiri went downstairs to eat breakfast.

Kuroneko and Elf were beginners. With the two girls in their beginner's luck protection period, they quickly caught several small fish. But as the weather grew hotter, Elf soon lost her patience.

"Sora, I want to go surfing. I saw surfboards inside the kiosk earlier."

Yamada Elf dropped her fishing rod, grabbed the hem of Sora's shirt, and shook it gently.

Sora looked over in surprise: "You know how to surf?"

"Of course I do." Elf put her hands on her hips, proudly lifting her chin. "My family has an island, and I used to surf there often when I was little."

Anna's eyes sparkled brightly: "Elf is amazing!"

Yamada Elf proudly tilted up her small face: "During summer vacation, I'll take everyone to the island for a vacation."

Angel-sama turned her head, her voice gentle:

"You need to wear a swimsuit to surf. Although you can rent surfboards at the kiosk, it seems they don't sell swimwear."

"Hehehe~"

Yamada Elf hummed smugly, grabbed her skirt with both hands, and lifted it up.

Sora remained expressionless, completely unfazed.

Conversely, the girls beside him quickly erupted into a commotion.

Anna swiftly reached out, covering Sora's eyes: "Sora close your eyes, don't look!"

I've seen her with no clothes on; underwear is completely nothing!

Kuroneko: "Why did Elf suddenly lift her skirt?"

Angel-sama: "Eh... a swimsuit?"

"That's right, it's a swimsuit." Yamada Elf proudly lifted her chin. "When coming over to play, I thought we might go swimming in the ocean, so I changed my underwear to a swimsuit."

Unfortunately, aside from Elf who came wearing a swimsuit, the other three girls were all wearing underwear, so they naturally couldn't go surfing.

"Sora, come surfing with me."

Yamada Elf reached out her small hand, tugged at Sora's sleeve, and looked over expectantly.

Sora shook his head: "I don't know how to surf."

"If you don't know how, I can teach you." Yamada Elf tilted up her small face, full of anticipation. "Surfing alone is so boring, it's only fun with more people."

Compared to girls, boys only need a pair of boxer briefs, so Sora could indeed go surfing.

"Sora-kun, you should go with Elf." Angel-sama's voice was gentle as she spoke softly. "I'm a little bit worried about Elf going alone."

Anna nodded in agreement: "Elf is indeed a bit reckless, it makes one worry."

"I am not reckless!"

Elf put her hands on her hips, very unconvinced.

Sora complained in a low voice:

"If you weren't reckless, you wouldn't have gotten trapped on the rooftop."

"That was an accident, it wasn't my fault." Yamada Elf twisted logic. "Anyway, let's go quickly."

"..."

Sora took Elf and walked towards the kiosk.

"Renting a surfboard..."

Sora took the responsibility of communicating with the kiosk owner.

"I need two surfboards." Yamada Elf quickly interrupted. "Servant is playing with me."

Sora said casually:

"I don't know how to surf, I'll just watch you play from the shore."

"It'll definitely be boring alone on the shore." Yamada Elf looked over expectantly. "This lady will show mercy and teach Servant how to surf."

Hearing this, Sora glanced over:

"Beg me."

"Huh?"

Yamada Elf widened her eyes.

"What did Servant say?"

"Beg me." Sora unhurriedly said, "Beg me sincerely, and I'll go surfing with you."

Thump!

Yamada Elf clenched her small fist and punched Sora's knee:

"A mere Servant, don't go too far!"

"Then I'm leaving..."

Sora turned and made a gesture to leave.

"W-Wait a minute."

After taking just two steps, Sora's right hand was grabbed. Yamada Elf's small face was flushed red, her pink cheeks puffed out as she looked over, her voice aggrieved:

"P-Please play surfing with me, I'm begging you, pretty please."

Sora smiled:

"Since Elf has pleaded so sincerely, I shall reluctantly agree."

"Idiot Servant, know when to stop!"
