"Are you sure you can handle more?"
William asked carefully as Thalia nodded excitedly.
Her cheeks were already slightly pink, and her eyes looked softer than usual.
"I've never tasted alcohol this good before…" she mumbled happily. She lightly licked her lips, trying to catch the lingering taste. "Where did you get this?"
William smiled while watching her.
He had completely forgotten about the rice wine one of their business partners had gifted him almost a month ago. It had been sitting untouched in the fridge until Thalia accidentally found it earlier.
"Someone gave it to me…" he answered casually.
Thalia hummed in response before taking another sip without hesitation.
William rested his chin against his hand, quietly observing her.
She was definitely drunk already.
Not heavily drunk… but enough that her reactions had become slower, softer, and noticeably cuter.
The problem was… Nothing was happening.
No fox ears, no tails appeared.
William's eyes narrowed slightly.
