Unbeknownst to them, Fang Xing had already sneaked into the Dragon Bone Temple. The Five Elders of Seeking Immortality were undeniably anxious, worried that Fang Xing might have first dibs on whatever treasures the temple contained. After all, if anyone else found them, they could negotiate for an equal share, but if the little monster got his hands on them, it would be hard to make him give up anything. They've already spent untold effort just buying Spirit Stones from him along the way and had accepted that trying to get the better of him was a futile endeavor.
However, just as they hurriedly followed to rush into the Dragon Bone Temple, a heart-wrenching cry from within froze them in their tracks, each of them startled, fearful of the dangers within, and so they collectively halted at the temple entrance!
But only for a moment, as they each used their respective methods to probe inside.
