Lord of the Rings: Kingdom Builder
After dying from cancer, Oliver Smith wakes up in the freezing Weather Hills of Middle-earth as Aldric, a minor Dúnedain noble with nothing but a rusted sword and a group of forty-six starving refugees. However, he isn't just a survivor—he is the host of the Kingdom Restoration System (KRS).
In a land of fading magic and rising darkness, Aldric must use the system to rebuild the lost kingdom of Arnor from the ground up. From managing granaries and planting orchards to training a military capable of standing against the shadow, he must transform a band of desperate refugees into a continental power. The world thinks the age of Men is over, but with a system for civilization building, Aldric is about to prove them wrong.
The System: Kingdom Restoration (KRS)
Territory Management: Allows the MC to "claim" land. Once claimed, the system provides a map overlay showing resource nodes (ore, fertile soil) and structural integrity of ruins, making it easier to rebuild ancient bastions like Amon Hen-dîr.
Population & Loyalty Tracking: A HUD that shows the exact number of followers, their health, and their loyalty levels. It calculates "Prosperity" and "Stability" scores, warning the MC of potential rebellions or starvation before they happen.
Civilization Skill Trees: Points earned from quests can be invested into trees like Agriculture (increasing crop yields), Masonry (speeding up construction), or Military Reform (enhancing the combat stats of his soldiers).
Quest & Reputation System: The system issues "Restoration Quests" that provide essential rewards for growth. It also tracks his reputation among other factions (Elves, Dwarves, Rohan), unlocking unique trade or diplomatic options as his fame grows.
