THE MAFIA'S KING POSSESSION

Isabella "Bella" Romano, 24**, has spent three years working double shifts at a rundown diner, her fingers raw from scrubbing grease, her dreams buried under medical bills for her dying mother. She's invisible—just another exhausted girl in a city that chews up the desperate and spits out bones. Then one blood-soaked night, she witnesses a execution in the alley behind her workplace. The killer's cold eyes meet hers. She should run. She should scream. Instead, **Dante Salvatore**—the Ghost of Chicago, the most feared mafia boss in North America—makes her an offer: become his tool, his perfect weapon disguised as innocence, or watch her mother die without the experimental treatment that could save her. Bella has no choice. She becomes Dante's **"little bird"**—his spy in high society, his bait for enemies, his alibi when bodies drop. She wears the designer dresses he buys, attends galas on his arm, and learns that monsters don't always have fangs. Sometimes they have empty eyes and blood on their Armani suits. Dante Salvatore has never let a woman past his bed. Love is weakness. Attachment is a target painted on your back. His empire was built on ruthlessness, and he's survived by feeling nothing. Women are transactions—pleasure exchanged for jewelry, then forgotten by morning. But Bella is different. She doesn't flinch when he kills. She doesn't beg for mercy or luxury. When he barks orders, she obeys with fire in her green eyes. When he bleeds, she stitches him up with steady hands, asking nothing in return. The tool is becoming something else. Something dangerous. As Bella navigates assassination attempts, deadly rivals, and the twisted politics of five crime families, she discovers the truth: Dante isn't just a monster. He's a king haunted by the massacre that orphaned him at twelve, forced into power by his uncle's cruelty, and imprisoned by a legacy of violence he never wanted. Then **Nico Moretti**—Dante's childhood friend and underboss—betrays them. The experimental treatment for Bella's mother? Funded by the Bratva, who want Dante dead. Bella's mother's illness? Poisoned deliberately to recruit Bella as their inside agent. Bella was never supposed to be Dante's tool. She was meant to be his **assassin**. When Dante discovers the conspiracy, he's faced with an impossible choice: kill the woman who betrayed him, or trust the girl who taught him what it means to have a heart—even if it gets him killed. Because in the underworld, love isn't a weakness. **It's a loaded gun pointed at everything you care about.** And Isabella Romano—the girl who scrubbed floors—is about to prove that queens aren't born into power. They're forged in fire, crowned in blood, and built by the men who underestimated them.

The Van: A Tale of Survival [Gritty, Realistic Zombie Horror]

When a fast‑moving viral outbreak turns ordinary people into raging flesh-eating creatures in a store parking lot, eleven-year-old Isabella and her seven-year-old brother Mateo end up trapped in their family minivan after watching their mother die horribly in front of them. With the infected outside, no keys, and almost no supplies, they’re left with an impossible choice: slowly starve in the van, or risk everything to reach the keys lying near their mother’s corpse. The Van is a grounded, slow-burning survival horror story about: -  Claustrophobic survival: The van is their shelter, their prison, and their whole world. Every decision, when to move, when to stay, when to open a door, can kill them. -  Child POV, adult stakes: The main characters are kids with no superpowers and no special training. Their fears are real, and they have to push through them, learn from their mistakes, and grow up fast if they want to live. -  Monsters and humans: The infected aren’t the only danger. Other survivors can be just as bad, or worse, and the echo of their mother’s lessons is the only guide they have for what survival really means. -  Psychology over power fantasy: Hypothermia, hunger, guilt, and fear hit harder than jump scares. Every “solution” they find comes with a price, and every action has a cost. If you like stories where survival is earned inch by inch, where kids are smart but still painfully human, and where there’s no leveling up or no upgrade screen coming to save anyone, The Van is for you.

This is absolutely discontinuous nonsense

This was the story of the Wannabe Webnovelist Team (aka WW) who slaved over writing for five years and did not receive a single reader, only to discover that the person responsible for the final edit and publishing in the Wannabe Webnovelist writing team never actually published anything. He had only uploaded everything to the drafts. Sit back and relax (or not) as you try to figure out which character has written which paragraph or chapter. Not to mention working out how many people are actually in this team - this may fluctuate. The WW team's rules in this novel are that once a chapter has been published, no one in the team can edit it. (NB: all the characters in this work are fictional and while any resemblance to real life people are not entirely coincidental - no insults are meant. This is a completely tongue in cheek, rubbish piece of nothing. Yes, you read that right. If you find this as nonsensical as the author(s), then 'high five!' You are on the right page.) Also, has this story really been discontinued? Wait and see... because if it really has been discontinued, we hope the readers enjoy being left hanging on the cliff edge - or just hanging, cos there's nothing wrong with just hanging about. Addit Oct 2023: WW is on a long break. Who knows if they'll ever get back together or come back (in fact, I doubt they will ever return - I think they've given up). Therefore, you will receive random short stories instead. This is now truly discontinuous nonsense. Enjoy. If you don't like one story, you can now switch to a different one via the contents page. Yay.

The Dark Heaven - Her Soul Was The Price

*This novel contains dark fantasy themes, mature romance, violence, psychological trauma, seduction, and morally complex situations. Reader discretion is advised.* A stolen childhood, a found family, and the night Hell finally found them. Escaping poverty and loss, Victoria finally found peace with her stepfamily—until strange, non-human entities tore her world apart. Left bleeding on the road, hovering between life and death, she was met by an Angel—not a savior, but a Dealer of Fate. Her survival came with a cruel contract: Her family's lives in exchange for her soul—forever. Victoria was reborn with terrifying supernatural power. But every ability demands a price bound by merciless rules: a constant need to 'recharge' through intimacy, governed by true emotion, unavoidable attachment, and destined heartbreak. She can never risk falling twice. As Victoria is dragged deeper into the shadows, she uncovers the truth of Dark Heaven, a twisted realm ruled by Kill Wish (Aethna Montaug)—an expelled Angel obsessed with replacing God Himself. Aethna hunts a divine artifact called the Body Shield, a weapon shattered into twenty-one pieces that promises immortality and absolute power. What Victoria doesn't know—until it’s too late—is that one of those pieces is hidden within her own body. Her soul is already sold, but the fate of every world now rests in her hands. Will her reluctant power save the worlds caught between Heaven and Hell, desire and betrayal?
