The Unicorn's Forest

Etherelemental
While the issue about my writing ability has been resolved, it took longer than I'd have liked and now I need to extend the hiatus period on this book as I reread everything I've written on this book earlier than I'd planned. I will at least be proofreading the chapters and will update them as I work on it. In addition, I'll see if there's something I can do about the first 13 chapters on making them shorter without having to rework all later chapters. Thank you for your patience on this matter. Vol 1: The Unicorn's Forest Charlie Rivers is a 14-year old girl who is trying to get through high school without being noticed when she finds herself hearing a voice asking for help when she is only one of two who can hear it. She agrees, despite the fact the other person is someone she doesn't like. When she meets the 'voice' that needed help, she learns that it's a unicorn, yet she's the only one who seems to be able to see the horn. Everyone else thinks it's a horse. Charlie also learns that by having agreed to help the unicorn, she'd gotten herself involved with a group of friends, including the other person who can hear the unicorn, that she hadn’t been really involved with before. Not only is it changing her normal schedule drastically, given she hadn’t hung out with anyone before, but even her personal space seems under attack at times. As she continues to help the unicorn, she funds that going back to how she was isn’t as attractive as it had once been, before she was helping the unicorn but also she wonders if she really would want to. *Minor spoiler in the synopsis for vol. 2 if you haven't read vol. 1* Vol 2: Tip of Other Worlds Charlie and her friends begin traveling to other worlds in search of the world that the griffin canyon connects to. While they do that, Charlie finds herself torn with wanting to grow her relationship with Alex and beginning the expedition through different worlds. Then as the expedition begins, she finds more than she ever expected to find on other worlds, but ever in the back of her mind is the dream she had in which Beth, her best friend, dies in. A dream she's determined to keep from happening, even if she has to sacrifice the friendship that's come to mean so much to her. *Minor spoilers in vol. 3 synopsis* Vol. 3: Acclimating to a New World Charlie leaves her friends and is taken by The Lost. Her friends continue on and encounter a family who has the same disease they had just recovered from. While helping them, they learn about how this world is that of a matriarchal society and has been since ancient times. What that means they can't say, only that it's going to be awkward. Charlie comes to after a while, feeling like her brain had been I'm a fog and that she had been in a waking dream, only to find she's naked and in a kind of cage where she learns she's been taken as a slave. While she has no idea how this happened, she's determined to find a chance to successfully get out of that situation. Mature content will be either through implications or will only extend to the edge of it. The cover art was ai generated. The Emperor’s Auspicious Beast. Dual ultimate attributes—Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Light. Carries the Golden Dragon bloodline. Its primary attribute—spiritual power—is even stronger than its two ultimate secondary attributes. And its destiny attribute? A wildcard capable of bringing endless miracles. Golden-Furred Lion Mastiff! The chosen son of the Douluo III version. Ancestor of lion-type and canine soul beasts. Innate domain bearer. For fourteen years, Freya survived the apocalypse alone. Gifted with the power to command the elements, regenerate even severed limbs, and store endless supplies inside her portable space dimension, she became a force of nature in a dying world. Fire answered her call. Storms bent to her will. Broken bones and torn flesh healed in moments. There was nothing she couldn’t survive. Except betrayal. When the one person she trusted most turns on her, Freya dies with fury and heartbreak burning in her chest. But death is not the end. Genshin impact: Reincarnated as a Mondstadt Noble with a System

I died when the nukes fell. Next thing I knew, I was a baby in the Lawrence clan, yeah, THAT Lawrence clan, the disgraced Mondstadt nobles everyone hates. I spent ten years unable to relate to anyone. How do you play tag with other kids when you remember watching civilization burn? How do you care about noble etiquette when you know the Abyss is going to threaten this entire world? I got my Electro Vision at 10. I also got a system. Sounds OP, right? Wrong. It gives me one hour a day of enhanced understanding. That's it. One hour to figure out what everyone else misses about elemental power. The rest of the time, I'm on my own. So I started experimenting. Turns out you can use Electro to enhance human cells at the microscopic level. The Knights of Favonius call me “The Great Devil” because my training methods are brutal, but they work. At 15, I became their youngest captain. At 25, I completed something no human has done before. I travel with the Traveler and help with the main story stuff, but I’ve got my own agenda: collect all seven elements by learning from the Archons themselves. Sometimes they cooperate. Sometimes I have to convince them.( Venti’s secret identity makes excellent leverage.) Focalors doesn’t die in my version of Fontaine. Mavuika(Capitano too) doesn’t sacrifice herself in Natlan. I’ve saved lives that canon killed off and changed events that were supposed to be tragedies. Am I a hero? No. I blackmail gods, force solutions, and make morally questionable choices. But I’m preparing this world for what’s coming, whether it wants me to or not. Canon diverges hard. The MC gets strong but earns every bit of it. Lots of elemental theory and creative applications. Almost no romance because I’m too busy trying not to let everyone die. but there will be
