Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 and 2:

DC: The Last Saiyan

Chapter 1: The Last Saiyan

The night sky over Earth split apart as two stars fell from the heavens.

One streaked toward the quiet farmlands of Kansas, carrying the last son of Krypton.

The other cut across the atmosphere like a blazing comet, its dark hull glowing red from the immense heat of reentry. Unlike the elegant Kryptonian scout ship, this vessel was compact, spherical, and built for survival. Its scarred armor bore the insignia of a long-forgotten warrior race.

The pod crashed deep within the sprawling grounds of Sterling Manor, a private estate on the outskirts of Gotham City.

The impact shook the earth.

Security alarms blared throughout the estate as dozens of armed guards rushed toward the smoking crater.

Moments later, Victor Sterling and his wife, Eleanor, arrived with their security detail.

Victor Sterling was one of the richest men in the world.

As the founder and CEO of Sterling Industries, his company competed directly with Wayne Enterprises in aerospace, advanced robotics, and military technology. His wealth rivaled Gotham's elite, but despite everything he had accomplished, there was one dream neither he nor Eleanor had ever realized.

They could never have children.

Victor stepped past the nervous guards.

The spherical craft hissed.

Its front panel slowly slid open.

Inside…

A baby peacefully slept.

He looked almost human.

Wild black hair.

Soft tan skin.

Tiny clenched fists.

Wrapped around his waist…

A furry brown tail.

One guard immediately raised his rifle.

"Sir… that thing isn't human."

Victor didn't hesitate.

He gently lifted the baby into his arms.

The infant opened his eyes.

Dark pupils stared back at him with innocent curiosity before grabbing Victor's finger.

The grip was astonishingly strong.

Victor smiled.

"No matter where he came from…"

"He's our son."

Eleanor's eyes filled with tears as she carefully stroked the baby's cheek.

"We'll call him…"

"Alexander."

Sterling Manor became Alexander's home.

His adoption remained one of the world's best-kept secrets.

To everyone else, he was simply the long-awaited heir to Sterling Industries.

But from the very beginning…

Alexander wasn't normal.

At only three years old, he accidentally lifted a grand piano while trying to help a maid clean.

At four, he snapped steel playground equipment without realizing it.

At five, he outran one of the estate's sports cars during a game.

Every doctor, scientist, and geneticist Victor secretly hired came back with the same conclusion.

His biology made no sense.

His muscles generated impossible force.

His cells contained an unknown source of energy unlike anything on Earth.

None of them could explain it.

Victor decided that until they understood Alexander's abilities, they would keep them hidden from the world.

On Alexander's sixth birthday, Victor decided it was time to show him the truth.

Deep beneath Sterling Manor lay a reinforced underground chamber.

In its center rested the mysterious pod exactly where it had landed years earlier.

It had never powered on.

Until today.

As Alexander stepped closer…

The pod suddenly hummed.

Blue lights raced across its surface.

Ancient symbols illuminated one after another.

The machine recognized him.

A calm mechanical voice echoed throughout the chamber.

"Genetic confirmation complete."

"Saiyan DNA detected."

Victor instinctively stepped in front of his son.

"What is this thing?"

The pod ignored him.

Instead, the interior unfolded, revealing technology centuries beyond anything Sterling Industries had ever developed.

A holographic woman appeared.

She wore battle armor unlike anything found on Earth.

A brown tail hung behind her.

Her expression was stern, yet gentle.

"If you are seeing this…"

"…then Planet Vegeta no longer exists."

"My name is Serah, Chief Combat Instructor of the Royal Saiyan Military."

"If this pod reached its destination…"

"…you are among the last survivors of our people."

The image shifted, revealing towering cities beneath a crimson sky.

Warriors with tails flew through the air.

Children sparred while adults trained under ten times Earth's gravity.

"This pod was designed for one purpose."

"To ensure that a Saiyan child could survive—even if no Saiyans remained."

The hologram faded.

The machine came alive.

Hidden compartments opened throughout the chamber.

Small drones floated into the air.

The walls transformed into display screens.

Gravity generators emerged from the floor.

Victor stared in disbelief.

"What… is all this?"

The AI answered,

"Emergency Saiyan Combat Education System activated."

"Primary Objective: Raise surviving Saiyan infant into fully trained warrior."

Alexander looked at the pod with wide eyes.

"You can teach me?"

"Affirmative."

"Curriculum includes: Saiyan language, galactic history, Ki control, martial arts, survival training, flight, gravity conditioning, combat tactics, emotional discipline, and ethical use of power."

Victor raised an eyebrow.

"Ethical use of power?"

The AI replied,

"Historical analysis determined that uncontrolled Saiyan aggression contributed to the destruction of our civilization."

"Training protocols have been updated."

"Student will be taught restraint before strength."

Victor smiled.

"Then let's begin."

Training started the very next morning.

Alexander learned breathing exercises before punches.

Meditation before combat.

Control before strength.

Weeks turned into months.

Months became years.

The first exercise wasn't throwing a punch.

It was lifting a feather using Ki.

It took him months before the feather finally floated.

Serah smiled.

"For the first time…"

"You controlled your Ki instead of letting it control you."

The chamber beneath Sterling Manor became his classroom, dojo, and home away from home.

Years of gravity training, meditation, martial arts, and discipline slowly transformed Alexander into something far greater than a naturally powerful Saiyan.

He became someone worthy of that power.

Chapter 2: Three Boys, Three Destinies

Three years passed.

Alexander Sterling was now nine years old.

Across the country, another nine-year-old boy named Clark Kent continued growing up on a quiet farm in Smallville, Kansas.

And in Gotham City…

Another child carried a burden unlike any other.

Bruce Wayne.

Three boys.

Three extraordinary futures.

None of them knew the others existed.

Inside the underground training chamber, Alexander stood beneath crushing gravity.

Gravity: 5G.

Three combat drones emerged.

"Begin," Serah ordered.

The drones attacked simultaneously.

Alexander sidestepped the first.

Redirected it into the second.

Disabled another with a precise strike to its power core.

Then closed his eyes.

Instead of relying on sight…

He sensed the faint energy signatures around him.

He pivoted.

Dodged.

Countered.

The final drone shut down.

Serah nodded.

"You relied on awareness."

"Not instinct."

Alexander grinned.

"I'm getting better."

"You are."

"But your greatest challenge still lies ahead."

"What challenge?"

She looked upward.

"The sky."

Alexander's eyes widened.

"You mean…"

"Flight."

Meanwhile…

Smallville, Kansas.

Clark Kent chased a runaway tractor tire across a field.

"Clark!" Jonathan Kent called.

"Slow down!"

"I got it!"

Clark caught the massive tire before it destroyed a fence.

Jonathan smiled.

"I keep telling you…"

"People can't know what you can do."

Clark lowered his head.

"I know."

"I just wanted to help."

Jonathan placed a hand on his shoulder.

"And that's exactly why you'll become a good man."

At the same time…

Wayne Manor.

Bruce Wayne sat inside the massive library.

Books on criminology, psychology, history, and law surrounded him.

Alfred entered carrying tea.

"You've been reading for nearly five hours, Master Bruce."

Bruce looked up.

"I want to understand."

"Understand what?"

"Why people hurt each other."

Ever since his parents had been murdered, Bruce had devoted himself to learning everything he could.

Alfred smiled gently.

"You don't need all the answers today."

Bruce closed another book.

"No."

"But someday…"

"I will."

Back beneath Sterling Manor…

Alexander attempted flight.

He floated an inch.

Then fell.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Hours passed.

By sunset…

He remained airborne for nearly thirty seconds.

"I did it!"

Serah smiled.

"You have taken your first step."

"One day…"

"You will cross continents under your own power."

Alexander looked at her in amazement.

"Really?"

"If you continue training."

"I will."

That evening, Victor and Eleanor joined Alexander on the balcony overlooking Gotham.

Victor looked toward Wayne Tower.

"I remember when Thomas Wayne used to bring Bruce over for dinner."

Alexander looked surprised.

"You knew him?"

Victor nodded sadly.

"He was one of the finest men I've ever met."

Alexander quietly looked toward Wayne Manor.

"I'd like to meet Bruce someday."

Victor smiled.

"I think you will."

Far away…

Clark lay atop the Kent farmhouse looking at the stars.

"I wonder if anyone else came from where I did."

At the very same moment…

Alexander stood outside his bedroom window staring at those same stars.

"I wonder if there are others like me."

Deep beneath Sterling Manor, Serah quietly monitored Earth's satellites.

For a brief moment…

She detected another alien life signature.

Not Saiyan.

Not human.

The signal originated in Kansas.

"There is another child from the stars…"

"But the time for your meeting has not yet come."

Three boys looked up at the same night sky.

One would become Batman.

One would become Superman.

One would become Earth's first Saiyan hero.

None of them knew destiny had already connected them.
