Yu Qi watched the scenery outside the car window. Right now, she was on her way to FINN City, following her master. Old Man Feng and Feng Yue had also tagged along for the trip.
"Grandfather, where are we heading?" Yu Qi had been asking Grandpa Tang this question for quite some time, but he still refused to answer her.
"Do not worry, my dear. I am not selling you to the black market." Grandpa Tang replied casually.
Yu Qi rolled her eyes inwardly. 'He really does not want to tell me. Hmph... fine. I will stop asking him.'
"We've arrived." Grandpa Tang announced as the car came to a stop.
Yu Qi stepped out of the car and stretched her body slightly. After sitting for three hours, her body felt stiff and tired. Feng Yue also got out and immediately started complaining to her grandfather about how exhausted she felt.
Yu Qi scanned her surroundings. In front of her stood a large building. The signboard clearly read Tang Hospital. She glanced at Grandpa Tang before looking back at the hospital again.
"Come in. I will show you around." Grandpa Tang said proudly.
Yu Qi and Feng Yue exchanged a look and laughed softly at his tone. The four of them then entered the hospital. However, the moment Grandpa Tang stepped inside, a group of men in doctors' coats quickly appeared and blocked his path.
"Director Tang, you are back!" They greeted him enthusiastically, almost like excited dogs welcoming their owner.
"How did you know I was back? I do not want to see all of you." Grandpa Tang snorted, clearly displeased.
"Director Tang, you are our director. Of course, we are happy to see you return." One of the doctors said, ignoring Grandpa Tang's attitude.
"Hmph... I am not here for work. I am here to show my disciple around." Grandpa Tang said dismissively.
"Director, who is your disciple?" The group immediately turned their attention to the two girls standing behind him.
Curious and slightly envious expressions appeared in their eyes.
Feng Yue was startled by their intense gazes. She quickly moved behind her grandfather, using him as a shield. On the other hand, Yu Qi stood calmly where she was, her expression unchanged.
"This is my disciple and also my granddaughter, Yu Qi." Grandpa Tang introduced her.
"Hello, everyone. I am Yu Qi. Nice to meet you all." Yu Qi said, giving a slight bow. Her smile was elegant and composed.
The group of doctors was momentarily stunned by her presence.
'Wow, she's beautiful. Like a noble lady.' That was what they thought right now.
"Alright, that's enough. Go, go. I will accompany her myself." Grandpa Tang said, waving them away as he noticed the way they were staring at his disciple like fools.
