Tang Shaoyang scratched the back of his head. He had been standing in the same place for almost an hour. The crowd had dispersed half an hour ago.
Zhang Mengyao led the team into the wild, hunting the monster and the beast for the event. Zara and the Tangu Knight Order Spirits left with Zhang Mengyao. Ophelia and Ophelius followed them. Sox and Somi went their separate ways, leaving Tang Shaoyang and Maldros along with five floating cocoons.
Tang Shaoyang looked at Maldros. The Dragonkin stood faithfully beside him, didn't look bored, and never complained.
"You can go if you want to have some fun, you know, Maldros."
Maldros shook his head. "My place is on your side, Your Majesty."
After the advancement to the Pinnacle Rank of the Archaic Spirit, Maldros had become more inflexible, or maybe the right word would be stiffer, stricter, upon himself.
Tang Shaoyang never regarded the dragonkin as his personal butler or servant. It was a self-imposed role that he put on himself.
