The five cocoons shook. It started off with a gentle shake, but it was getting fiercer and fiercer. That reminded him when Lust tried to fight back the Demonification.
The possibility that his familiars tried to fight back the awakening was a possibility. But that didn't make sense since all five were shaking. He didn't discount the possibility, so he tried to link with his familiars, trying to sense what they were doing. That was just to be safe.
His links with them were getting stronger. He could even feel the link with Gluttony and Sloth that were not here. He was surprised that his links to Sloth and Envy were stronger than his link to Gluttony.
He formed the bond with Gluttony earlier than Envy and Sloth. It made sense that his bond to Gluttony was stronger since the bond was older. That was not the case. It seemed it was affected by the fact that Gluttony had been spending his time with his wife more than with him.
