CRACK.
CRACK CRACK.
The Mule's fingers were forcibly bent backward and broken one by one by Li Ang's brute force. Due to the sticky note's requirements, Li Ang didn't directly chop off the Mule's hand (as doing so might have violated those requirements). Instead, he broke her little finger, ring finger, and middle finger, forcing the Mule to hold the pen using only her right thumb and index finger.
It was unclear whether breaking the fingers reduced the contact area with the pen, or if the intense pain from the fractured digits jolted her brain. Regardless, the Mule, who had been groggy, suddenly became much more lucid. Sweat beaded on her forehead, and she gasped for breath.
"This pen wants to control me." The Mule suppressed her emotions, grasped her right wrist with her left hand, and spoke as calmly and steadily as possible.
