Nixilei almost burst out laughing when Hedera slammed the door in her face. It was just so funny, especially after Nixilei had gone to the trouble of knocking on the front door instead of just sneaking inside. She wasn't going to leave without talking to Hedera after all… still, best to try an advanced tactic. Knocking again.
Nixilei continued to hold in her laughter as Hedera let out a number of quiet, terrified sounds. Nixilei had to roll her eyes to remove some of the overwhelming desire to laugh out loud. Still, her advanced tactic worked and the door opened to Hedera who looked significantly more composed… if you ignored the fact that her fingers were twitching backwards, clearly ready to draw a bow she didn't even have on her. "Good morning!" said Nixilei with a grin.
"I think it's afternoon actually," retorted Hedera before she could think of something better to say.
