The Sondrel Pardal truly couldn't have found a worse opponent in its life. That Godly Flying Creature was troublesome because of its abilities, yet those same abilities happened to be almost completely useless against Roan. In fact, they were also largely ineffective against Rean, who could freely use Roan's Dark Element as well. The only real difference was that Roan possessed a much deeper understanding of Darkness, allowing him to deal with the Pardal far more efficiently.
As for pure combat strength, the Pardal wasn't particularly impressive compared to other Godly Flying Creatures of the same level. If cultivators were used as the standard, its raw power was closer to that of an Initial or Middle Stage Law God. What made it dangerous was never its physical strength, but the unique properties of its Dark Element and the rotting fog it could continuously release during battle.
The moment the Pardal swooped down, Roan flew straight toward it without the slightest hesitation.
